Today, my husband declared that his “dream” girl is a petite, black-haired Asian girl between the ages of 18-24. I am 37, 5’9, and a blonde Caucasian woman. FML

Today, I found out that my husband only dated me because I look like what he thought the daughter he had with his first wife might look like when she's grown up. FML
Today, I overheard my girlfriend talking to her friends, saying the most attractive guys are tall and dark-skinned. I'm about average height and pale. Uh-oh. FML
Today, I found out my husband only started to date me because he thinks I look like his daughter. She was 5 at that time. FML
Today, I overheard my husband of 3 years talking to our boss, an attractive blonde. She was telling him that she couldn't believe he was with me. She thinks I'm fat and ugly and that he's hot. He said, "She's not that bad…" We work in the same store and she follows him around like a puppy. FML
Today, my new girlfriend was telling me how she's attracted to "All-American" looking guys. Tall, manly body, handsome face. Then she says, "But it's ok, you're cute too." FML
Today, I discovered that my fiance only got with me because he has a fetish for black women (he's white). That's the only reason he started dating me. Never mind my career or anything else. All that mattered to him was the color of my skin. FML
Today, I overheard my wife telling our daughter that getting married young is like a “long, slow, painful dream-killing death, played out over decades.” We got married when I was 18 and she was 17. FML
Today, I overheard the girl I like tell her friends about me, “I like his personality a lot, it would be so sexy if he was taller. He’s adorable though.” I’m just below average height for a man. I wouldn’t even consider myself super short. I hate being 22. FML
Today, my 36 year-old husband decided that I’m not his soulmate and he made a mistake marrying me. Why? Because he believes that the 19 year-old girl he met on his video game online thing is instead, and they’re "meant to be." We’ve been married for 5 years and had our second child a month ago. FML
Today, I finally met my dream woman: a smokin’ hot green-eyed petite redhead. Or so I thought. I met her online and “she” turned out to be a 22 year-old guy trolling me. The worst part is that I separated from my wife for this girl. She won’t take me back no matter how much I beg and plead. FML

OP, I am guessing husband is going through a midlife crisis and he’s feeling dissatisfied with his life - And this is one of the symptoms… Midlife can be a bitch - For males or females. But there is a difference between fantasy and reality and most people know the difference even when they are going through a midlife crises. If this is just a fantasy with no intention of acting on it, don’t pay too much attention to it. If you want to play along get a wig that looks kind of like the fantasy… On the other hand if this looks like the beginning of a bigger crisis then pay attention but don’t act on it until there is reason… BTW - Having been there before, somewhere around mid life it occurs to you that your life is half over. You start wondering if life could be better or more fun. If you are dissatisfied you start thinking that it’s your last chance to find the life you really wanted. The phase passes but sometimes with a crisis…

Well said. My ex-wife hit her crisis last year at 47. She threw away a 23-year marriage to move out West and start over alone. If all this guy is doing is dreaming, so be it.
