Today, I found out my husband only started to date me because he thinks I look like his daughter. She was 5 at that time. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that his daughter only liked me because she thought that we look like siblings. FML

Today, on a first date, he told me I look like his ex's mom. FML
Today, I met my boyfriend's parents for the first time. His mom stared at me throughout dinner before finally blurting out, "I'm sorry, I can't get past the fact that you look just like his ex!" It turns out I do. FML
Today, while shopping, I bumped into a guy I knew in high school. He went on about he heard I'd got married, looked like I'd had a baby, and that, "she looks just like you!" The kid was my niece, and my husband broke up with me 2 years ago. Thanks for bringing that up. FML
Today, I looked up my current boyfriend's ex's TikTok, and I realized how much I look like her. So now I'm wondering if he's only dating me to get over her. FML
Today, my date told me I have a smile that "reminds him of his grandma." Then he showed me a picture. I look exactly like her. FML
Today, I realized why my 50 year old Dad's 30 something girlfriend looked so familiar. She is in all my parents wedding photos... as the flower girl. FML
Today, I found out my husband had a Pornhub account where he photoshops himself to look like a girl. The worst part is that I noticed he wore some of my maternity clothes in the pictures. I guess they were the only ones big enough to fit him. FML

That's not a gross ad you might think. People tend to be attracted to people who resemble them. Women tend to be attracted to people who look like their father. Men to those who resemble their mother or other female in the family. It's not all weird and gross, it's human nature. We instinctively are attracted to those who are like us. It does NOT mean we are attracted to our parents or siblings. But we see their traits as strong ones that we expect to carry the family forward. Survival of the fittest. Don't believe me? Ask a human behavioural biologist / psychologist. OP, your husband is not gross and pervy. You are exactly what he looks for in strong genes. He obviously loves you or he wouldn't have married you. You are, in essence, what he looks for and considers attractive. Take it as a compliment... Even if it is a bit of a weird way to give one.
