Today, while waiting on the platform, a blind man asked out loud for some help getting into the subway car. I helped him through the doors and into a seat. I decided to sit down as well. Twenty minutes later, I realized I was on the wrong subway line. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I took the subway. The man sitting across from me would not stop staring at my breasts, so when the train came to my stop, I said, "Nothing to see now, asshole." Then I noticed his white walking stick as he got up to get off. He was blind. FML
Platform B
Today, I was running late for a train and bought a ticket in a hurry. I got on the wrong train, sat there for twenty minutes, and only realised my mistake when the scenery looked nothing like my stop. FML
Beep beep beep
Today, I was rushing to get on the train to work as I heard the "door closing" beeps. I was about to step onto the train when a man pushed me out of the way so that he could get on. My handbag fell out of my hand into the carriage. I stayed on the platform. FML
Thanks for your help
Today, I was on the subway when I felt like I was going to faint. I got off the train at the next stop, walked to a bench, but fell over and passed out. When I woke up, I looked around at at least 25 people, who had stepped around me, passed out, in the middle of the platform. FML
You tried
Today, I offered my seat to an elderly lady on the subway. She quietly refused. Minutes later on a sharp turn, she almost fell down on two people. As I was clearly the youngest in the disability seating section, everyone on the train turned and glared at me. FML
Asshat
Today, I got on the subway with a broken leg. A kind woman stood up and offered me her seat. Before I could sit down, a guy shoved past me and took it for himself. The woman and I pointed out my cast and crutches, and asked him to give up the seat. He responded by flipping us off. FML
Today, the subway was extremely crowded and I ended up with my butt in a man's crotch. I kept trying to inch away or turn a different way, but there was no room. He could have turned to face the doors, but didn't. He got an erection. I was on there with him for 20 minutes. FML
Today, I gave up my seat on the subway for an elderly man. He thanked me by grabbing my ass. FML
Today, at the train station a woman's baggage had gotten stuck in the ticket barriers, so I used my ticket to unlock the barriers for her but told her to wait so I could get through too. She didn't wait. And I got painfully stuck in the barriers whilst I watched my train go by. FML
Where am I?
Today, I got on the bus I take every morning and sat in my usual seat. After about ten minutes, I noticed that the route was different and I had no idea where we were. I had been staring at my phone and boarded the wrong number bus without noticing. FML

The great thing about the subway is that all you have to do is get off and head in the other direction. Fabulous invention, really.

YDI for helping people under ANY circumstances, for not paying attention to what you were doing, for not cropdusting the other passengers on the train, and for riding public transportation. Also, how could you fall for such an old scam? He was a pickpocket.

I thought it sounded like he put the blind man on the wrong subway line, which would make it much more of an FML.

Canada is in America, more specifically North America. Get it right before you try and correct someone.

No. 55: When referring to the continents of America, one usually says "the continents of America," or "the Americas" for short. The term "America," in the singular, is generally a shortened form of "The United States of America."

Well that was a nice thing to do but why would be the chances of someone your helping getting on the same subway line? You should really pay attention to that kind of stuff.

You did the right thing, OP. Karma works in weird ways sometimes, but your good karma will come in due time. :)

First of all, good for you op for helping him :] Twenty minutes on a subway (TTC? Since your from Ontario :P) goes pretty far....hope it doesn't hurt to get off at the next stop and take the opposite subway back to your original stop.
