Today, while I was working at Chipotle, a teenage girl asked in all seriousness if she "could have a steak burrito, but with like, chicken instead?" FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Sorry, I didn't mean…
Today, I asked a girl at the restaurant I work at if she'd had enough to eat. When she said yes, I said, "Are you sure?" I didn't realize how insulting it sounded until her equally overweight mom was up in my face, demanding to see my manager. FML
Today, I went to a restaurant and asked for vegetarian options. They told me, "We have a chicken Caesar salad, will that work?" FML
Today, I was in the line at Chipotle and noticed a very attractive lady in her mid 20's. I deliberately took the table next to her and her friend and happened to overhear what they were talking about. They were both discussing how much diarrhea they were going to have when they got home. FML
Karen strikes again
Today, I was reduced to tears and called a "useless fat bitch" by a customer I was serving. She didn’t realize that the steak fajitas she’d ordered had steak in them. She said she was a vegetarian. She failed to mention it, but apparently it was "my fault" because I “should have known." FML
Get on with it
Today, I was in line at Chipotle behind the guy ordering for his entire office. FML
Today, while waiting on a customer at a restaurant, I accidentally asked a midget if she'd like a children's menu. FML
Today, while working as a line cook, one of the servers sincerely asked me, "What sauce goes on a chicken bacon ranch sandwich?" I replied, a little incredulously I'll admit, "…Ranch." She then totally lost her cool and went full-blown adult temper tantrum because I was, "mean to her." FML
Not now Dave
Today, I had a customer propose to me. I work at Taco Bell. FML
Today, I ate at Chipotle. There was a girl sitting alone, so I asked if I could eat lunch with her. She said yes, and as I sat down I tried to open my bag of chips. When trying to do so, my hand slipped, and I punched myself in the face. She laughed, and promptly left. FML
Clever boy
Today, I was minding a 6-year old boy. He begged me to take him somewhere. I rang his mum, and she said I could. He picked to go to McDonald's. He ordered chicken. After his meal, he told me he was vegetarian, and wanted to try some meat while his mum wasn't around. I got the blame. FML

Chicken fried steak, anyone? The most confusing dish name ever.

And then she asked for sour scream and cheese without like, the cheese?

I apologize to everyone for my generation.

Yeah, cause only ours has idiots, right?

What's the difference? You're really making her a rice burrito -- the origin of the teaspoon of meat you put in is not a big deal.

Number one that comment was offensive I'm a blonde teenage girl and I'm not dumb. -.- she could easily be a brunette or redhead
naznafeathers 22
1s comment wasn't even offensive, it was just asking if the girl's hair color was that of the majority of girls who say stupid things.
smithv171 17
Majority of girls who say silly things aren't blonde. It has nothing to do with hair color..
naznafeathers 22
Blonde jokes/ stereotypes exist because of the majority. Not that the hair color is the cause, but it is a very strange coincidence.

Oh okay I gotcha.

Not helping the "we are not dumb" case by posting a whole new comment. You could have replied to the first comment under the first comment.

It's spelled without the 'e' in some parts if the world.

Both spellings are correct. I think one spelling is for men, the other spelling is for women.

I don't get the problem.. she just wanted chicken instead?

She should have asked for a chicken burrito...instead of a steak one, but with like chicken instead. Ya know?

But if "chicken burrito" isn't a main menu item, (which I don't know because I'm not American) then what the girl asked for was fair in my opinion.

84- The chicken burrito is a regular menu item probably next to or at least close to the steak burrito

The reason why her question is dumb is because of the way Chipotle is set up. When you order a burrito in Chipotle, it's all up to you. You choose your meat topping first then add other things like rice, lettuce, salsa, you name it. Asking for a steak burrito but with chicken instead is dumb because she could have just asked for chicken then added whatever she wanted on the burrito. I hope this clears it up.

I agree with 84. I did this exact thing because I had never ordered there before, but what my boyfriend had with steak looked amazing. Their menu was super confusing for a first timer.

Maybe she should just order a chicken burrito next time?
Retrokitty 9
It would kind of make sense if the steak burrito cost less but I doubt that's the case.

Was she a blonde :p

This is the part where you tell her "sorry, no substitutions" and see what happens. Perhaps her brain will explode.
WhiteZoneRedZone 6
No, that only happens if her math teacher asks her to divide by zero.
