Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML

Today, I was in class when I coughed up so much snot inside my mouth. It was so gross, I couldn’t talk. I raised my hand to go over to the sink to spit it out but I couldn’t talk and he didn’t understand, so I just got up and walked over. A few kids in the back saw me do it and said, "Ewwww." Everyone stared. FML
Today, while in class, I desperately had to fart. Someone in the room had a coughing fit, so I took that as the chance to let it out. When I was about to release, the coughing stopped. I couldn't stop in time. FML
Today, I had an extreme panic attack in the middle of class. I interrupted another person's presentation, burst into tears, and ran out of class whilst everyone looked at me. FML
Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. I stumbled through the presentation, feeling the embarrassment steadily grow in front of my colleagues. I almost passed out. FML
Today, I gave a presentation in class. I felt pretty good about it, until afterwards when I was told I lost points for communication because I'd been chewing gum. I wasn't, I just have a speech impediment. FML
Today, I was giving a presentation in front of my class. Mid-speech, I felt a sudden urge to sneeze and tried to hold it in. Instead, I let out the most obnoxious, window-rattling sneeze imaginable, complete with a spray of snot, which landed on my notes. I think I traumatized my classmates for life. FML
Today, I was giving a presentation to my college class. I've had a natural stutter my whole life, so I stuttered through the whole thing. My professor tried to hold in her laughter for 15 minutes. FML
Today, I had to give a speech but I wasn't prepared. I decided to give it anyway. While giving the speech, I got so nervous I passed out. FML
Today, I was giving a class presentation, when I suddenly sneezed so hard I wet myself. FML
Today, my hiccups got so intense that I threw up in the middle of class. FML

Oh wow that exact same thing happened to me in 11th grade when I was forced to give a speech. Ask your teacher if you can redo it. Maybe she'll be willing to let you try again

It might be terrible to practice, but public speaking is a very essential and useful skill.

I'm sorry you "hadn't even got finished the first paragraph" while "giving speech". I'm also hoping your teacher stopped you because of your grammar. I normally don't worry too much about grammar in these stories, but this was too awful to ignore.

I'm sorry OP. :( Something similar happened to me. except, I had an allergic reaction &my throat swelled up during my speech. I passed out.

Are you going to get marked down for having this coughing fit? Will she let you make up the assignment? If not, you should definitely complain to somebody higher up.

This has happened to me before! Just ask the instructor to redo it sometime, I'm sure they'll let you.
