Today, stopping at a rest plaza, the cashier at Wendy’s asked my best friend if I was her mom. We are only two years apart. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, while picking up my 14-year-old sister, a friend of hers asked if I was her mother. I'm only 17. FML
Low blow
Today, while I was working, my friend stopped by and visited with me a moment. After she left, my client asked me if she was my daughter. My friend is 32 and I'm 27. FML
Today, a woman came up to me at work and screamed at me for "taking forever" to come and wait at her table. I work at Wendy's. FML
Second best
Today, my mom admitted that the only reason she took me out for lunch was because she felt guilty over going on a massive shopping spree for my sister while I was forced to stay home alone. I thanked her for the Wendy's meal anyway. FML
Creeped out
Today, my mother and I went to lunch and there is a really cute waiter that works at the diner. I requested him to wait on us like I sometimes do. While we were waiting to be seated, I heard one waiter say to the cute one, "Ya, the creepy one is back, and this time she brought her mom!" FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend where he went to lunch. He said he went to Wendy's. I teased him and asked if he got tired of eating burgers and Frosty's all the time. His response? "What? No, I mean at Wendy's. You know, the hot girl from work?" FML
Today, as I was just finishing my grocery shopping, a little girl and her mother walked past. Seeing the little girl staring at me, I waved. The girl then pointed to me and asked her mother "Mommy, is that man pregnant?" FML
Today, I decided to cut class with one of my friends and we ended up going to Burger King. As we sat down at the table, I heard my name being called. My mum was getting lunch through the drive thru with my little brother and saw my car parked out front. FML
Odd one out
Today, I went to the mall with two friends. A modelling scout approached us and asked both of my friends if they were interested in modelling. When the scout finally noticed me, she asked if I was their mom. We're all the same age. FML
Today, my 17-year-old employee accidentally called me "Dad". We all got a good laugh from it and went on with our days. Later, after getting her some coins for her cash drawer, she playfully said, "Thanks, Daddy." The customer she was serving? My wife. FML

At least they probably didn’t require your ID to get your Frosty. So, you got that going for you, Mum.

I was in a store once and this girl behind the counter thought I was my moms husband.

That's not funny. That's how the internet works when you don't have an Ad Blocker.

Ugh. I totally relate. Christmas a few years ago, a month after I turned 21, my MOTHER and I were at the post office (she was 42). The lady behind the counter said "So, are you two twins, or just sisters?"

It sounds like it could have been a joke, meant to flatter your mom?

This literally happened to my best friend and I yesterday at Walgreen's and we're only 3 months apart! Smh people need to get their eyes checked.

I know all about that. I went with my wife to dinner one day and the waiter said how nice it was to be taking my mom out. My wife isn't even five years my senior and doesn't even look that old

it's Hollywood's fault. They refuse to cast age appropriate moms. In the Golden Girls Dorothy's mom was played by a woman younger than her.
