Today, our mouse problem finally started to go away. Now we have a snake problem. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, our rodent problem was taken care of. I discovered this when my cat projectile-vomited a soggy, death-scented wad of dark fur and tiny organs onto the couch. FML
Usually a bad omen
Today, my boyfriend finally moved in with me, after being long distance for months. Our apartment just became infested with mice. FML
Today, I found out that both of my cats are afraid of mice. So far I've seen them run and hide from 3 different mice who've recently invaded my apartment. FML
Today, I got rear-ended on my way home from the pet store, causing my pet food to open up and go flying all over the floor of my car. My pet is a snake, and his food is live mice. FML
Today, I discovered that catching fewer mice in the traps I'd put out doesn't mean my pest problem is getting resolved. It means that rats have moved in. FML
Today, my cat brought yet another chipmunk into our house. She never kills them, so they stay in our house until we either capture them or they escape. So far, she's brought in three squirrels, four chipmunks, four mice, and a snake. FML
Irrational fears
Today, my daughter, who can pick up spiders and even snakes without flinching, screamed at the top of her lungs because she saw a mouse. Um, what? FML
Lurker
Today, I woke up to an angry snake trying to climb the leg of my bed. My bedroom was closed all day yesterday. It must have gotten in my room days ago. FML
Today, I found that there is nothing worse than coming home to a snake slithering across your kitchen floor. Except when it disappears into your cabinets. FML
Today, a water snake slithered into our pool. He can have it. FML

If you don't take care of that problem it'll just come back to bite you in the end

Sounds to me a little like how The old lady who swallowed a fly story goes. Who knows what's coming in next.

Oh my goodness I have the biggest snake phobia and just threw 3 bowls filled with dog food all over the place the other day because a snake I thought was dead started slithering away super fast. I was still screaming after I realized the "snake" had legs. I'd never be able to sleep in that place again.

Um, what was it, if it wasn't a snake but moved really fast? Hopefully not something that likes to eat dog food... OR DOGS!

I'd guess either a lizard or a centipede.

It was a big lizard that's tail was missing. Guess I should've clarified that a bit more. In my defense it did really look like a snake at first.

Hopefully they're not poisonous!

*Venomous. Plants and amphibians are 'poisonous'....

Thanks for the clarification :)

What made you think that getting a snake to combat the mouse was a good idea *shakes head*

I highly doubt that was their go-to plan. I think the snake problem simply came about because of the mice...

Round them up. Snake farm, anyone?

Count me in.

Do you have animal control service ? If so, call them and get their help, especially if you can't identify the snake, may be dangerous.

this somehow reminds me of the Simpsons....

Install Barry White into the house, wait, that will bring more snakes.
