Today, our mouse problem finally started to go away. Now we have a snake problem. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, our rodent problem was taken care of. I discovered this when my cat projectile-vomited a soggy, death-scented wad of dark fur and tiny organs onto the couch. FML
Usually a bad omen
Today, my boyfriend finally moved in with me, after being long distance for months. Our apartment just became infested with mice. FML
Today, I found out that both of my cats are afraid of mice. So far I've seen them run and hide from 3 different mice who've recently invaded my apartment. FML
Today, I got rear-ended on my way home from the pet store, causing my pet food to open up and go flying all over the floor of my car. My pet is a snake, and his food is live mice. FML
Today, I discovered that catching fewer mice in the traps I'd put out doesn't mean my pest problem is getting resolved. It means that rats have moved in. FML
Today, my cat brought yet another chipmunk into our house. She never kills them, so they stay in our house until we either capture them or they escape. So far, she's brought in three squirrels, four chipmunks, four mice, and a snake. FML
Irrational fears
Today, my daughter, who can pick up spiders and even snakes without flinching, screamed at the top of her lungs because she saw a mouse. Um, what? FML
Lurker
Today, I woke up to an angry snake trying to climb the leg of my bed. My bedroom was closed all day yesterday. It must have gotten in my room days ago. FML
Today, I found that there is nothing worse than coming home to a snake slithering across your kitchen floor. Except when it disappears into your cabinets. FML
Today, a water snake slithered into our pool. He can have it. FML

If you don't take care of that problem it'll just come back to bite you in the end

Sounds to me a little like how The old lady who swallowed a fly story goes. Who knows what's coming in next.

I love that this comment can be both figurative and literal.

Snakes?!! Dang, that would cause me to want to move! Best of luck, OP !

After having lived in a house with a mouse infestation I'd rather have the snakes, at least as long they are not an immediate danger to humans (poisonous or big enough to cause serious damage). At least snakes will not eat the Tupperware containing your food, your food, your textiles, your bed, your papers and books, your candles, your wires and half your furniture.

Run. Run and NEVER look back.

Turn that problem into profit by making shoes out of them.

And when your snake problems end, you'd have a mongoose problem.
