Today, one of my classmates asked the teacher to postpone her presentation because she had to study and the teacher happily agreed. When I approached her, the teacher started yelling at me because postponing deadlines is irresponsible. I just wanted to make sure we didn't need to bring our book. FML

Today, I told one of my teachers I have to attend a family member's funeral on a day she's passing a test. She straight up asked if I could reschedule it, and if not if I could just give it a miss. FML
Today, I've been making extremely good progress in my online class. Or at least… I was, until the deadline to complete it was suddenly pushed a whole month forward, causing me to be "behind." Then my teacher had the nerve to email me, telling me I needed to catch up. FML
Today, I received an email from my professor asking me not to jump ahead on assignments as it makes the other students look bad. FML
Today, after telling a student that she had to take the online test on the date that I had assigned, she whined to the vice president of the college, who then told my dean that he needed to do something about it. She made me offer testing days on multiple dates. So much for integrity. FML
Today, after realizing my flashcards had fallen out of my binder, I asked my teacher if I could quickly go to my locker to get them. She said no and told me to go sit down. As soon as class ended, I went to my locker and brought them to her. Her response? "Why didn't you ask me to get these during class?" FML
Today, at school I was sitting with a friend outside, talking about irregular periods and unshaven legs. Ten minutes into the conversation, a teacher sticks her head out the window above us and tells us to leave. We were distracting a classroom who were trying to finish a test. FML
Today, and for the past two weeks, my teacher hasn't taken a class, saying that she doesn't want to teach a class as loud as ours. When she does teach, it's near impossible to hear her over the yelling of other students. I checked the syllabus for an exam and it has two topics that she didn't cover. The exam is in two days. FML
Today, my teacher yelled at me for using my phone in class. I apologized out loud, knowing that it would help me get off easier. She was yelling at somebody else. FML
Today, I got detention from my teacher for not handing an assignment in. It would be understandable if I hadn't handed it in a week before it was due. She won't listen to reason. FML
Today, I turned in an essay after staying up late to work on it. I was away when the teacher assigned it, so I'd asked my friend what the subject was. It transpires that she'd given me the wrong one, all because she was mad at me for not returning her pencil. FML

Explain the reason you wanted to speak to her. "I understand that postponing due dates is irresponsible, ma'am. That aside. Do we need to bring our book for this class?" You can't help that your teacher plays favorites, or the fact that she jumps to conclusions and is, presumably, a bitch. You just have to deal with her attitude in a calm manner. Good luck, OP.

Plus if you act in a calm manner towards her while saying what 11 said, she will probably feel like an idiot. It's easier to be in the wrong when the other person gets angry and starts doing or saying wrong stuff as well. It's worse when they're calm and nice about it which just makes the idiot feel like the idiot they are. Kill her with kindness Op!

I wonder if, since the teacher agreed so happily, she's actually saying a horrible game of '**** you' to the other girl? Saying, 'of course you CAN do your presentation late, but with each day beyond the deadline you will lose 10 points.' Just a tiny possibility. Now, it was very wrong of the girl to do it openly in the middle of class. She should've approached the teacher privately after class. I had an IEP in school which meant teachers had to give me a bit longer on assignments, but I only ever talked to them about it before or after class.

Yeah I get that. Year seven my English teacher who was also my drama teacher wouldn't say two words to me let alone talk to me because she only would speak to the more popular people and only try to get along with them.
