Today, my wife cancelled on our date we had planned for over a month. It would have been our first one-on-one date since the birth of our first child. Our child is over 13 months old. FML

Today, I went on yet another date with this beautiful young lady from my job. I can’t help but feel bad because ever since my wife gave birth to our kid she’s been sluggish and puffy, and I’m not attracted to her anymore, but I don’t know how to leave her because my son would be without a father. I hate this. FML
Today, it was our first kid-free weekend in almost two months, and I was hoping for a nice date night. Instead, she picked up two shifts at work and then had a girls' night. Don't worry, she assigned me a massive deep clean that ate up almost my entire weekend. FML
Today, I called my usual babysitter, one of the few people who can handle my difficult kids, to ask her to watch them for a night next week. She refused. It turns out my wife has been repeatedly underpaying her and she's fed up with it. So long date nights, I guess. FML
Today, I went to the location of me and my wife’s first date, because I miss her, and barely get to see her because of our work schedules… Only to see her there on a date. FML
Today, my first date in years cancelled on me because she has to "wash the horse's hair." The date was arranged for 9:30pm. FML
Today, after over a month of planning, my friend had to cancel her first night out in over a year. Why? Because her "perfect" fiancé didn't want to, and started sulking when she tried to, so decided to put off letting her go out for a few more months. Apparently, it's my fault this happens. FML
Today, my pregnant wife and I got separated while out shopping. She ended up having meltdown and crying so hard the manager had to call me over the PA. FML
Today, my wife told me I’m not worth the trouble. She’d rather overextend herself for complete strangers than spend any time with me. I should've seen this coming. Even before we got married, her favourite line was, “You already had children with someone else, we’ll never be a family.” I tried for nothing. FML
Today, it was supposed to be my first date with a girl I've been speaking to for three months. Last night, she revealed that she's still married, that her husband is "not so bad", and then confessed it all to him and blocked me. It was gonna be my first date in six years, after the last one stalked me across the country. FML
Today, my wife told me she wanted a divorce and walked out. This is two days after she informed me that she is unexpectedly pregnant. FML

Who was going to stay with the baby? Maybe she was nervous about leaving. It's important that she make time for herself and for your relationship. Children are healthier when the parents put each other first sometimes

Talk to her, this is important for both of you. There may be a sense of being scared leaving your child alone with whomever (yes, even if it's one of your parents), and it's a normal fear, but you both need to be on the same page about adult time together. Your marriage and sanity need to be tended to as well ;). Even if you have to make it a weekly 'date night' at home till she's comfortable, maybe you will need to put a bit of effort into when your child is in bed, do something together! I know sleep is precious, but three kiddos later, one divorce and in a new relationship.... Tending to your relationship and sanity is huge.... Good luck OP!

She's having some co dependency issues and that's normal, but any longer is unhealthy. Just remind her that your child will be okay and start with small steps, like going on 10 minute walks while someone watches the baby. It'll be okay! I promise. My husband and I have only gone out twice because of this, but our baby is still an infant.

Kids take up a lot of time expesally little ones just relax and when your wife feel comfortable she'll be ok with a sitter try talking to family about watching the kids not a stranger
