Today, my wheelchair was delivered. My brother and I were messing around with it when he rolled over my already injured foot. At least surgery is next week. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I managed to break my ankle by running it over with the wheelchair I've used on a daily basis for the last 6 years. FML
Cheer up!
Today, while trying to comfort my little brother who just injured his leg, I tripped and sprained my ankle. At least he was amused. FML
Little shit
Today, I asked my 5-year-old nephew to clean up his mess of toys. He responded by kicking my foot. My bandaged foot which was still recovering from my surgery last week. I'm probably going to need another operation to fix the damage. FML
Today, I was brutally run over by a man in a wheelchair. FML
Today, an old lady steamrolled over my foot with her wheelchair, then laughed as she slowly rolled away, leaving my toes in ruins. FML
Today, I fell down the stairs, breaking my foot and tendons. It was the first time I had ever broken anything, and the doctor said that it's the most complicated break he'd ever seen. It's too complicated to operate. Now I'm stuck in a wheelchair for god knows how long. FML
Today, I called the campus police to give me a ride to the cafeteria since I am on crutches from knee surgery. I was only halfway into the car when the man started driving and ran over my foot. Now neither my right knee or my left foot work. FML
Today, I spent the morning in the ER with a broken arm. My little brother was in such a rush to get his presents first, that he violently shoved me out of the way on the stairs. FML
Not again!
Today, I went to see a podiatrist, two weeks after having major surgery on my abdomen, only to be told I might need surgery on my foot. FML
Spring break
Today, I'm off work for 4 weeks after trying to move an obese patient from their bed. The poor woman was so large that when we tried to move her the leg of the bed snapped, and her weight drove the sharp broken leg down through my foot into the carpet. Surgery and no walking for 4 weeks. Whoopee. FML

Just be careful. You don't want anything happening to make it worse before the surgery.

why, why is it always the injured foot to go under the bus again?!

Wow how could he have rolled it over your injured foot? How could he do that to you? He must've been pretty careless

I think you got what you deserved. Doesn't you foot hurt bad enough that you have to go in for surgery.

I'm a bit curious to know how one can deserve something like this?

#9, he only has the wheelchair because he needs it for his injured foot, yet he and his brother were messing around with it in such a way that it rolled over that foot. It seems like a pretty good rule of thumb to not mess around with something you only have because you're injured, no? Especially when there's a chance that you could further injure yourself with the thing that's supposed to help your injury.

Thank you for backing me up #13. I'm sorry if I didn't make what I was trying to say clear. Hope everyone had a nice memorial day

Why is it always the already injured body part?

It's only logical, since it's already injured, it could as well keep getting injured rather than let other body parts suffer as well. It's called taking one for the team, or in this case, taking multiple for the team.

Because it's more of an FML than if it just rolled over your normal foot

That's what you get for screwing around.

Sometimes people like to mess around, and things happen. It's not always a YDI kind of thing

I'm guessing your parents often told you that things you were playing with were not a toy. "The dishwasher is not a toy," "The chair is not a toy," "The shovel is not a toy." Now that you are older, everything is a toy to you! I may be wrong, but that's how I picture it, and it's awesome to be an adult!

Knee scooters are where it's at, for the record! If it's an option, that is :)
