Today, my sister, who has been seeing a guy for a year, got engaged. I've been dating my boyfriend for over 5 years and let out some not so subtle hints and he basically refused to propose. This is her second marriage in the time of my relationship. FML

Today, I'd been getting ready to hear my boyfriend's proposal, as his friends had told me he'd talked to them about planning it. He showed up at my house out of the blue… to tell me he's breaking up with me, only to find out he proposed to his ex hours later. FML

Today, my sister asked me if I was going to be getting married "for real" this time, because she didn't want to waste her money like she did on my previous engagement. The reason that one didn't work out in the first place is because she slept with my fiancé. FML

This isn't your fault, or the boyfriend's. Your sister is a selfish little bitch. She could have asked him if she was so impatient. By the way, if she really did want to marry him and spend the rest of her life with him, then why couldn't she wait a while longer? Obviously she didn't love him that much if she can just toss him aside like that over something stupid. He's better off without her.

I still think it's fed up when girls do this. I'm a girl and I would never break up with a guy for that reason. If she really loved him she wouldn't have broken up with him. This is more of an FHL.

Well... how is this your life being ******? More like his is... Anyways, just convince her to wait it out... tell her he's been dropping hints and stuff... but I wouldn't tell her outright and ruin the surprise. If you need to do that, let HIM tell her he was going to, you shouldn't.
