Today, my roommate pressed "snooze" on his alarm 14 times. I counted. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my roommate set her extremely loud alarm clock for 5am and continued to hit the snooze button every ten minutes until 7:30. FML
Today, my roommate's extremely loud and obnoxious alarm went off six times, waking me up each time, before she finally gave up on hitting the snooze button and went back to sleep for good. FML
Today, I woke up to the sound of my roommate's alarm clock going off at 6:00 in the morning. His bedroom door was locked, and he was passed out in his bed from drinking too much. It rang continuously for five and a half hours before it finally ran out of batteries. FML
Today, like every day, I woke up at 3 in the morning because my roommate needs "a three hour warning" before his real alarm goes off. His alarm is a constant beeping noise which he always ignores for a good 10 minutes before finally getting up and turning it off. FML
Today, I set 3 alarms so I wouldn't miss an early morning event I was volunteering at. After I slept through the first one, my roommate turned the other two off without waking me up because they were annoying. I missed the event. FML
Morning routine
Today, my alarm went off. I snoozed it, and went on to dream that I got out of bed, did my business, brushed my teeth, took my breakfast, changed into my working attire, and was ready for work that morning. My alarm rang a second time, I had to do all that over again. FML
Today, my roommate has gone home for the weekend. She forgot to turn her alarm clock off. Her door is locked. FML
Today, like every other day, my roommate's alarm began to go off at 7:30am. What time does she have to wake up? 10:00am. Why does she have her alarm go off for two and a half hours? Because last semester she needed it to go off then and she is too lazy to change it. FML
Today, I heard my alarm go off, dragged myself out of bed, had breakfast and got ready for work. As I was heading out the door I checked the time again. It was 1:41 AM. Apparently my alarm never actually went off. FML
SHUT UP!
Today, my smoke alarm started chirping at 3 a.m. I replaced the battery, reset it, and got back into bed. Five minutes later, it chirped again. I searched for the source before realizing it was my roommate's alarm clock. FML

Why didn't you wake him up yourself?

You should've poured ice water on him. Cliché, but effective.

I'd be pissed if my roommates woke me up when I was trying to get 10 last minutes of sleep.. Or 60
Bobskittens1 12
Or OP could just kill him! Muhahaha >:D
StalkerChick 13
Ugh my boyfriend does this. I usually punch him after the 3rd time pressing snooze. Or start using some pretty foul language.
Bobskittens1 12
OP should have just turned off the alarm themselves.
AvengedSevenfold_fml_fml 12
Get up in between snoozes while the room mate is sleeping, and unplug the clock :D

#32 I second that. Either turn it off or wake him up. Laying through that is ridiculous.

Today, I decided to see how many times my roommate can stand me pressing that "Snooze" on my alarm. Turned out that after hitting it 14 times, I could not bear the sound first. FML

My brother asked me to wake him up once. Little did he know I would make sure he was awake. Some pots and pans later... He was up and ready to go.

Go outside and start your day instead of listening to it
blcksocks 19
Yeah but what if the alarm first went off at like 4am. I would be pretty pissed.

What if OP works opposite shifts and was sleeping... I'd be pissed if I had to deal with that.

I used to do that. Now I jury got a clock radio and leave the radio on so that I don't go back to sleep. You should tell our roommate to respect you sleep!

Jury?

I wonder if replacing the roommate's clock with a one that sounds like real gun shots would work?? Milliondollar idea? I don't know, one way to find out OP
GothickNihilist 15
I would personally Gibbs slap the person awake. It always works for me.
EwahWeeWah 21
Can't that send a person into shock?
xmaximusx 12
Lol just unplug it in the middle of the night
newbiehere99 6
Unplugging is good. I'd just change the time to "p.m." Instead of "a.m."
BlueFlatts 20
I'd have put a bowl of ice water next to the alarm so he would hit that instead.

Throw the alarm at him!!!
debbster7 18
My roommate used to do that all the time, I until I got up and threw her alarm out the window.

8) That is such a win.

I hope you bought her a new one because you had no right to destroy her property no matter how annoyed you got with her...

26, 1) How else will they learn? 2) Alarm clocks aren't expensive.

And 3) Look into acquiring a sense of humor.

Go punch him in the face 14 times. And make him count.
onlychildFTW 34
This is why having roommates can suck.
olpally 33
Go pour hot water on him to wake him up.

~ Because waking someone up with burn injuries is a great idea! ~
Axipiter 24
Hell, if that's the case, why stop halfway? Light his hair on fire!
olpally 33
Yep.. It is. :) nice sarcasm.
