Today, like every other day, my roommate's alarm began to go off at 7:30am. What time does she have to wake up? 10:00am. Why does she have her alarm go off for two and a half hours? Because last semester she needed it to go off then and she is too lazy to change it. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I'm a college student. Just like every other goddamn day, my roommate set about twenty alarms a good two hours before she even needs to get up. She just sleeps through the first hour or so of alarms while I wake up. I've been waking up at 6 a.m., even though my first classes are at 9. FML.
Today, my roommate set her extremely loud alarm clock for 5am and continued to hit the snooze button every ten minutes until 7:30. FML
Today, like every day, I woke up at 3 in the morning because my roommate needs "a three hour warning" before his real alarm goes off. His alarm is a constant beeping noise which he always ignores for a good 10 minutes before finally getting up and turning it off. FML
Today, my roommate's extremely loud and obnoxious alarm went off six times, waking me up each time, before she finally gave up on hitting the snooze button and went back to sleep for good. FML
Today, my roommate has gone home for the weekend. She forgot to turn her alarm clock off. Her door is locked. FML
Sleep cycles
Today, my roommate gets up at 3:30am for work and wakes me up each time. I try not to complain about it, but whenever I come back to the apartment at midnight, she gets mad that I woke her up. I told her that she wakes me up in the morning, but apparently that’s different because she’s going to work. FML
Today, I woke up to the sound of my roommate's alarm clock going off at 6:00 in the morning. His bedroom door was locked, and he was passed out in his bed from drinking too much. It rang continuously for five and a half hours before it finally ran out of batteries. FML
Noise Annoys
Today, I'm dead on my feet. My flatmate's alarm went off for 20 minutes at 5 a.m., which I heard and he didn't. A car alarm went off outside my window for half an hour at 7 a.m. My building fire alarm went off twice, at 8 and 8:10 a.m. Just let me sleep. FML
Today, just like every other day, I was woken up 2 hours earlier than I needed to be, by the alarm belonging to my upstairs neighbors. They won't wake up until their real alarm goes off: me, pounding the walls and yelling in frustration. FML
Today, I set 3 alarms so I wouldn't miss an early morning event I was volunteering at. After I slept through the first one, my roommate turned the other two off without waking me up because they were annoying. I missed the event. FML

It's only been happening to me for the past few days since our schedules changed, but my husband's alarm went off this morning at 6 when he had to be up at 10. I apparently fell asleep on the couch, but the bedroom door was open and that damn alarm went off every hour for four hours. It takes me FOREVER to fall asleep so it would go off again just as I managed to drift off. Personally, if it happens again, I intend to just unplug the damn thing.

Because you couldn't have gone in and changed it for him? Four hours, and you did nothing. Your problem at that point.

I'm pretty sure her husbands not a child and should set the alarm right the first time, or shut it off if he doesn't want it. It's meant for him to hear not everyone else.

Or you're all right, and OP's husband should change the alarm because it is set for him, but 3 also should have done something more active about the alarm, like waking her husband up and asking him to fix it. And then if he doesn't, retribution is fair play.

Wow that sucks, hope she sorts it out soon.

Just break her clock when she isn't around. Then she'll have to get a new one and set it correctly.

Set your own really loud for early in the morning, like 5 am. Then, wear earplugs as you sleep. Revenge, plain and simple.

If it really bothered you that much you could just change it..
