Today, my parents had a huge fight because my mom found out my dad was cheating on her. They screamed for half an hour. Right in the middle of my wedding. FML

Today, my husband and I came clean to his overbearing parents about our private wedding. It started with them accusing him of making rash decisions, and somehow descended into an argument amongst themselves that ended with his mom deciding to divorce his dad. FML
Today, I got into a fight with my mom because she believes that my fiancé is "irresponsible" and "immature". I stormed out and drove back home. There, I walked in on my fiancé and his friends. They were in a heated and almost violent argument over which CSI is the best. The wedding's next month. FML
Today, during my wedding ceremony, the groom-to-be found it appropriate to blurt out about an ongoing affair with my maid of honor. They got married instead. FML
Today, my dad and I got into an argument, and he ended up calling me a son of a bitch. My mom heard and started arguing with him over him calling her a bitch. Three hours later, I'm now staying at my gran's house with my mom and hoping her threats of a divorce weren't for real. FML
Today, it's been a little while since I found out that my parents are getting a divorce. They'd been married for 25 years and my father got bored and lost feelings. My mother is crying and howling on the bathroom floor right now. It has happened before, but since it was in our upstairs bathroom, I could open the door with a knife. FML
Today, I was in my bedroom with my boyfriend and we were kissing. My mom then came into my room and started shouting at my boyfriend for cheating on her. FML
Today, my mom and dad got into a fight, during which my dad said to my mom that her health conditions were of her own doing. Because of that, I got pissed and had a fight with my dad, taking my mom's side. Turns out, my mom took his side and ratted me out. FML
Today, I overheard my mom talking on the phone with my sister about how much they hate my fiancé. My wedding is in two weeks and my family has been pretending to like my future husband for three years. FML
Today, my dad had a chat with my fiancé, telling him he can do better than me, and to think carefully before going through with our wedding. FML
Today, I was supposed to get married. I called it off only 20 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to begin because I saw my fiance punch his own mother in the face. FML

I think she had every right to be selfish and upset that they suddenly ****** up her wedding with news about her father cheating on her mother. There's a place and a time for everything.

honey, you are absolutely NOT selfish! it was YOUR big day, and they need to learn to be good enough parents to quietly deal without the problem on their own time, as not to concern you, or ruin YOUR day. they should be celebrating your enter into a happy life; this is a day to celebrate love and passion and loyal-ness. as for never talking to your dad, or even both of them again, i have to completely disagree. you shouldn't let their juvenile decisions affect the cherished memories that you may hold. you have every right to be EXTREMELY angry with both of them, and i say that you should even get to give em both a good bitch-slap. so unfair for you hon. i think i speak for all the commentors when i say hope you feel better, and your family pulls through. you SO did not deserve that! (unless you like helped your dad cheat or something.) your poor mom. and you.

Wow, I'm so sorry. What a terrible thing. I can sort of sympathize- my dad-is-cheating explosion was set off the day I returned from my honeymoon. It's a sucky thing anytime, but the last thing you want to deal with when you're first married. I hope your family finds peace.
