Today, I got my eyebrow pierced. By a fish hook. FML
Today, I picked my dog up and nibbled her ear. On the tip of her ear was a large tick, which burst, sending blood into my mouth. FML
Today, I was eating and my dog kept bothering me. She kept scratching my legs for food, so I took a large piece of fish from my plate and tossed it out into the hallway. It flew right into my mother's face. FML
Today, I was adjusting my nose piercing from the inside. My mother saw and thought I was picking my nose, so she slapped my hand away, tearing my nose ring out in the process. FML
Today, my dad and I went fishing. We both got a bite, but when we went to reel it in, both our hooks were in the catfish's mouth. He pushed me in the mud and took my hook out its mouth so he could say he caught it. FML
Today, I woke up to a weird feeling on my face. Thinking it was a bug, I slapped at it. It was my freshly-inserted nose ring. FML
Today, my blanket got caught on my nose ring and it took my boyfriend over an hour to get it free. Afterwards, he admitted he was trying not to laugh because it reminded him of a bullfight. FML
Today, my 5 month old son decided that my lip ring was a toy. Thinking it would be ok, I let him touch it. He got his finger caught and pulled his hand back. The lip ring is still in, but now I have a huge gaping hole in my face. FML
Today, I was playing tug of war with my dog. She let go and I ended up punching myself in the mouth. My lip is still swollen. FML
Today, my cat used my head as a springboard and ripped my earring out with her claw. FML

oh god i dont know the exact feeling but one time when i was slerping my nephew wrapped yarn around my lip rings and ran as fast as he could. not a great feeling. had to get stitches

The west placed rings through the noses of Bulls in order to make them easier to control (or anger, depending on the goal). Prior to this, many cultures, such as the Fulani, Shawnee, South Indians, Tecumseh and Nepalese practice septum piercing or nostril piercing for symbolic or aesthetic reasons. You may be a narrow-minded idiot who can only fathom what is put directly in front of them, but please recognize that stylistic choices may be affected by more than your personal preference.
