Today, my mother informed me that I am not allowed to drive in snow. I live in Minnesota. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my mother won't let me intern at a prestigious college, working with graduate students and professors, and being paid, because she doesn't want to drive me. FML
You can't see for shit
Today, my parents still won't let me drive in the dark. I'm 30 years-old. FML
Today, my parents told me that they've been having a contest to see who could punish me the most this week. So far, my mom is in the lead by kicking me out of the car near railroad tracks, and making me walk the 4 miles home in the freezing rain. FML
Today, my mom scolded me for not taking driving lessons already. This comes a few days after she told me that, "Allowing teenagers to drive is just another way of thinning out the gene pool". FML
Today, while in the car with my mom, she gave me a lecture about how bad of a driver I am. During that process she ran a red light and hit a car. FML
Happy Father's Day
Today, my mom said I was not allowed to spend Father's Day with my dad. When I tried to point out that I'm 24 years-old and she couldn't stop me, she disabled my car. I don't trust rideshare. FML
Today, my dad took my car keys off my keychain and hid them from me. His reasoning was, "I don't want you to be driving during the winter." Guess who has to walk ten miles a day to work, through the New England snow. FML
Today, a snow storm rolled into my small town, leaving my car stuck under 3 feet of snow. I called my boss to tell her I couldn't drive to work. Her reply? "Walk." FML
Today, my mom changed her mind about driving me to a job interview because she wants to attend a meeting at a church she told me she'd never go back to, full of people she hates. I can't drive because she refuses to teach me how. There's no public transportation. FML
Today, my school's ski trip got canceled, because "All the snow makes the roads unsafe." We can't go skiing because it's snowing. FML

How old are you? If you arent an experienced driver, I agree with your mom, stay off the roads.

When you learn to spell we'll talk about stupidity.

Same here. I live in West Virginia, and I'm sixteen. Mom won't let me drive when it's snowing...let alone when snow is on the ground....I don't really blame her, because lets just say I haven't had the best luck on the road for the nine months I've had my license.

Well, driving is dangerous anyway. Not to mention all the crap u have to do to care for the car in a snowy climate.

join the club! that is why you get a snow mobile!!! you can go so much faster:) and if you drive with your mom enough and show her you can drive slow enough she will probably let you. and she may just be reffering to after a snow fall and the roads are not plowed or iced
