Today, my mom was more upset about my 67 on an Algebra test than my sister almost setting the house on fire. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my little sister is a pyromaniac. She set my bed on fire. FML

Today, I made a 99 on my history test. Proud of myself, I went to tell my mom. She cut me off to say, "If it’s less than a 100, you’re fucking grounded." FML
Lock your doors
Today, while taking a test in my online class, my sister unexpectedly showed up. She panicked when she realized what I was doing, as the class has a strict rule of being 100% alone during tests. I assured her that because she wasn't helping me to cheat, it would be fine. Turns out it wasn't fine, as I got a zero. FML
Today, my sister just had a huge fight with my mom. After that, she thought it was appropriate to smash my $1,000 guitar to "blow off some steam." FML
Why would you do that?
Today, right before the most important final of my education, I got a text from my mom saying my house had burned to the ground, and my children were outside waiting for the firemen. I panicked, left school, and sped home… all for her to laugh and tell me it was “just a joke.” FML
Today, my parents, who aren’t usually lenient, allowed me to have my boyfriend over. We started to cuddle, things got a little heated, but then my sister walks in and says, “You do my math homework, or I tell mom what you guys were doing.” I don’t remember middle school math being this hard. FML
ASAP
Today, my mom texted me in the middle of my end of term math exam, saying it was extremely urgent and needed me to come home ASAP. While skipping my exam, I finally got home to find out my mom forgot what the emergency was. FML
Time wasting
Today, after having spent all of last night studying for an algebra test, I find out that the test was on a completely different chapter of my textbook. FML
Today, while I was studying for an exam, my younger sister came home extremely drunk and threw up all over herself and her bed. I later got grounded for not setting a better example. FML
Today, my pyromaniac sister somehow got her hands on my dad's lighter and set my bed sheets on fire. My dad said I must have provoked her, and that she can't be blamed for her mental condition. So now I'm grounded, and she has a new doll house to calm her down. FML

The key word is "almost"

of course you never know in an FML, but OP could be a 19 year old in a level 101 algebra class and his sister could be a 2 year old that knocked over a candle

Yes, "almost".. OP you little brat, I bet you care more about the fact that your mom was upset over your test than you personally did about the house almost burning down. Mom and Pop are always gonna provide a roof over your head so you can bring home D's... right?

I think you might have down syndrome...

Algebra isn't hard man. I'm pretty sure there is tutoring available at your school. Go to it. It helps.

Well see, you DID get a 67, and she only ALMOST set the house on fire. Next time, just almost get a 67 and successfully burn your house down :)

Priorities, priorities. The house didn't burn down, and unluckily for you, your Algebra test wasn't burned either. Study harder for next time?
