Today, my in-laws decided they were going to stay an extra week during our vacation to Dominican Republic next year. This would be fine, if we weren't travelling for our destination wedding, and the extra week wasn't our honeymoon. They are literally joining us on our honeymoon. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
This is gonna be fun
Today, my fiancé suggested we bring his elderly mother with us on our honeymoon. FML
Pushover
Today, my in-laws invited themselves to stay at my house for a few days. They live out of state and have been self-quarantining for months. The reason for visiting? So they can throw a party for extended family at our house. Guess who'll end up doing all the work and clean up? FML
Today, it's the first day of our honeymoon. My bride just informed me that she invited her ex-husband to come, so he can spend time with the kids. He will be here in 4 hours. FML
Today, I found out that I have to reschedule my upcoming honeymoon because my office will be understaffed that week, due to the boss going on vacation right after my wedding. Oh, yeah, and he's in my bridal party. FML
Today, I found out that my fiancé's parents are refusing to pay for a honeymoon, because they "didn't have one, so neither will we", meaning they won't pay for a single thing for our wedding. FML
You really shouldn't have
Today, I was awakened by knocking on my door, only to find my parents standing there. Turns out, they booked two one-way tickets to visit me from another country. Their plan? I should scrap my upcoming 2-week vacation to hang out because they invested in this trip. Oh, and they didn't book a hotel. I'm 31. FML
Today, my fiancée decided to go on a "vacation." Our wedding is tomorrow. FML
Run Hide Fright
Today, my husband and I are here on holiday in Rome, Italy. We both made chit-chat to an older couple who are staying at the same hotel as us. They've tried to spend everyday with us, even going to the same cafes and museums, where we are. We now try and avoid them; we end up hiding. We're here for another week. FML
Red flag
Today, my boyfriend bought us plane tickets to Mexico for our "Honeymoon". This would be nice if he had proposed and if we'd been dating for longer than 2 weeks. FML
Controlling
Today, two days into our honeymoon, my mother-in-law turned up at our Spa hotel and pretended it was a huge coincidence. We are an 8-hour flight away, yet she tried to claim she had a Spa coupon about to expire, from another country. Nice try Linda you nosy, interfering bitch. FML

How about just telling them no? you gotta set the boundaries early on, or they'll just do as they please and never respect you.

Just copulate aggressively and loudly the first night and see if they still want to join you for the next six days.

Well, I can't say I entirely blame them since they have to pay to fly out there anyway. They should get to enjoy the country too, just not by actually joining you. They need to do their own thing and let you be.

Change the location. Say you're honeymooning in France... them stay where you're at?

the family that vacations together, drinks mi-tis, and hits the beach together, loves eachother. her dad's wants you to know "don't do anything to his daughter you wouldn't want him to do to you.

How's about just telling them that this is now YOUR life and YOUR holiday and that if they wish to impose they need to ASK you if its ok. Which, you should add, it is not...

How could this be anything but YDI? You're having a destination wedding. You expect them to pay for flights to stay there for just a day or two? Hell no! If they try to actually spend all their time with you while you're on your honeymoon then FYL, but of course they want to stay and actually enjoy the beautiful location they're flying out to for your wedding. If you would begrudge them that then you are a very selfish person and I hope they aren't paying for your wedding and honeymoon.

You don't have to hang out with them.

Make sure you have separate rooms! Lock the door and order room service!! Charge it to them. Pricks.
