Today, my husband decided to be helpful and do all the laundry, including pre-treating all the stains. He felt that Clorox Clean-Up with Bleach would be the most effective. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Deep clean
Today, my husband decided to drain his motorcycle oil into an empty bottle of laundry detergent. Also today, I decided to lift a stain out of my white comforter with some detergent I found in the garage. FML
Today, my husband finally decided to help with the laundry. He washed a pen and it exploded in the dryer. FML
Today, I came home to find my fiancé trying to do laundry. His version was "rubbing the smelly spots with baby powder". Looks like I'll be the only one doing laundry for the rest of our lives. FML
Today, my boyfriend did the washing as an attempt to help me. Not only are all my clothes now pink, he refuses to do the dishes, vacuuming, bathroom, ironing etc., as he has done "plenty." FML
Still warm
Today, I cleaned my bathroom from top to bottom. Tonight, my husband threw up all over the bathroom. He actually cleaned it up himself, including the toilet. I went to use the toilet, put down the seat and sat down. Guess which part of the toilet he DIDN'T clean. FML
Accidentally?
Today, my brother sprayed the entire kitchen, including all the dishes, with industrial strength spray adhesive, thinking it was disinfectant. I'm the one who got to clean it up. FML
Thanks for the help
Today, I went to gather the laundry out of the dryer. My daughter had seen my wife put bleach in the washer, so she decided that honey in the dryer would make the clothes smell sweet. She wasn't wrong, but now I have a giant ball of sticky socks and underwear. FML
Today, our dishwasher broke. It's my husband's chore to do the dishes, but he refused to hand-wash them, and instead suggested we take them all up to his mother's for her to put in her dishwasher. FML
Self-centered
Today, I asked my SO for help with just the laundry, which translated into him only washing his clothes. We're married with multiple kids, and I currently work 2 jobs. FML
Today, while dog sitting, the dog peed on the carpet. There was a bottle of cleaning spray on the counter so I sprayed the spot. Turns out that spray was Clorox Bleach. Now their carpet is bright orange. FML

YDI for letting a MAN do the laundry
mtr_fml 0
at least he tried :( I feel bad for him he was doing something nice ...

It's not a wife's job to "train" her husband to do laundry. A fifteen year old should know not to put bleach on colors - boy or girl. A man should know how to do laundry well before he's married. Granted, this is probably not the end of the world, but its not a woman's "job" to "teach" men how to do basic household chores.

Hehe..I would just make MY husband fold socks or something. It saves us all the embarassment of having to wear splotchy, faded shirts and undies.

at least op's husband isn't a sexist pig who realizes it's okay to do housework, and much less embarrassing than sitting on your ass while your wife slaves away. op, way to go on giving the sexist asswipes on here more amo. >.>

haha a women trying to talk about womens rights but makes a spelling error (by the way I'm not sexist in any way) jk wanna hear a joke? womens sports hahahahaha
QueenPersephone 9
I'm going to have to agree with angryninja. It's always somewhat amusing though, to see men using the fact that they stand up to piss while women sit as proof or superiority. Morons.
Freeze_fml 17
It's more amusing to see women take the bait and get all heated up over a joke.
depressedgamer 0
if you think about it women are way more sexist than men, we just don't react to it.
saltz 0
isn't that the truth
ImaginaryFoe 1
AngryNinja, he might be sexist and smart enough to do the bleach trick so OP won't let him help anymore. Either way, OP, have him buy you new clothes and let him know he needs more practice doing laundry.
Pennykins 0
A "women?" And you are criticizing the grammar of others?
auzmo 0
it was a joke and my bad a woman sheesh
blankettt 0
In his defense, he was only trying to be helpful. on the other hand, he should have known not to do that, it's just common sense. Then again, common sense is the least common of the senses. By the way, this is when you teach him the correct way to do laundry, because now you'll know he can :)
chocobunnyyumyum 0
lol. it is common sense... :P

Why not kindly tell him what he did wrong, instruct him on how to do it right, and get over it? What's more important, bitching about your clothes online? Or being happy together with your husband?
willrh102291 0
^ couldnt have put it better
iamchuck 0
I did that once. Now I never have to do laundry again. Your husband is much smarter than you think.
