Today, I excitedly checked the mail to see if my Halloween costume finally arrived. It didn't. I live in an isolated city, so finding a costume by any other means than the Internet was impossible. I spent over $100 for a costume that I won't even get to wear this year. FML
Today, I was excited to finally receive my Halloween costume in the mail after the one I ordered back in September got lost in transit. Upon reaching my mailbox, I saw the lock had been broken off and my new costume had been stolen. The party is tomorrow. FML

Today, I spent two hours driving all over town looking for a store that sold pumpkins. When I finally found some, I was charged ten dollars per pumpkin. Later, I went to my town's annual Halloween festival and discovered they were giving pumpkins away for free. FML
Today, I asked my girlfriend to get a bunch of candy for our first Halloween at our new house, so she got $60 worth. We got into an argument about who was going to give it out. It’s now 9 p.m. No one came to our door all night. FML
Today, after a stressful shift at work, I bought three bags of candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters tonight. I didn’t realize until I got home that one bag had a hole in it, and there were three empty M&M wrappers inside. My grocery store sucks. FML

Thats not always the case. I ordered a costume a month before once, but it came extremely late although i had fast shipping.

I payed an extra $10 for my iPhone to ship faster and it did not ship within 3-5 days! it took 12 days to ship PLUS the traveling time. total BS.

haha yes all four my grandparents are Dutch, but they moved to S.Africa, and my parents were born there, and so was I. ahmm I can sort of speak it, but I can understand it perfectly :P speaking just seems so weird because it's so close to Afrikaans, and I tend to use the Afrikaans words instead :)
