Today, my fiancée of 2 years and mother of my son, who is also pregnant with our second son, commented on how lucky two friends getting married were to have found each other. I said that we're just as lucky. She responded, "No. They actually love each other." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
No future
Today, the love of my life said, "You’d make a great husband! Whoever marries you in the future is gonna be so happy!" We’ve been together for 4 years and was planning to propose on her birthday in two weeks. FML
Today, my 15-year-old son told me that he and his new girlfriend are deeply in love and are meant for each other. The "girlfriend" in question? My fiancé's 12-year old daughter. FML
WTF?
Today, I went to my fiancé's mother's funeral. His step-sister proudly announced that she's pregnant with his baby and they are engaged. FML
Today, while visiting my widowed great aunt, she took out her wedding rings and talked about the love she and my uncle had. Smiling, I told her that one day I hope to have as happy a marriage as theirs. Her response? "Knowing you, I wouldn't count on it." My mother sat there agreeing. FML
Fiancé of the year
Today, I found out that my fiancé of three years, with whom I share a child, fell in love with my best friend and they’ve been going on dates for the last four months after work. FML
Two-stroke
Today, my boyfriend posted a status on Facebook saying what a great girlfriend he had. Flattered, I commented on it, saying that I felt the same about him. Turns out he was talking about his other girlfriend. FML
Romance
Today, my boyfriend of several years, and father of our one-year-old child, finally proposed. He was making idle conversation from twenty feet away and casually said, "By the way, you wanna get hitched?" This is as romantic as my life will ever get. Yay. FML
Today, trying to be sweet, I told my girlfriend that I'm so happy we met one another. She muttered, "Well, that makes one of us." FML
Today, my fiancé's mother came up to me and told me she loves that I stuck with my soon-to-be husband despite his history and condition. I have no idea what she's talking about, and she refuses to tell me. FML
Today, my brother had his fiancée over to meet the whole family. We were having a great time with her, and my mother gushed to her that she was like the daughter she never had. I'm her daughter. FML

The first line of your FML kind of explained why dude.... engaged two years with a second kid on the way? Kind of a bad sign.

Hopefully your name relates to something else. You 2 need to clear this up and if needed, up the date on the marriage. Or if needed cut each other loose. Marriage without love can be hell.

Hopefully it's just the hormones talking!

I don't think marriage is the answer to everything and I do believe people can stay together and have kids without being married, but she obviously doesn't feel this way. It's kind of your fault that you didn't know this about her. Marry her and make her feel loved.

I doubt that is the case, she probably just got pregnant and he asked her to marry him because of this and she said yes because she was scared... I've seen many of my friends go into this situation and the woman leaves them when she realizes she really doesn't want to be with them. One of my friends had this happen to him and was engaged for five years to her before she left him saying she never truly loved him... Best choice is to talk with her and see what's going on... But sadly, more likely then not, they will probably break up. No point being in a relationship, even if you have a kid, if you don't love each other.

I'm sorry OP... But you should probably just leave her. I had a friend who was engaged for five years and had a child with her. Before she left him and said she never loved him...

really sorry OP. Why on earth would a person stay with someone and have two children with him if she does not love him!

My sister is pregnant and everything she says is really passive-aggressive or irritable. You can't make jokes or she will bite your head off, even if she is not part of the conversation. She has been making her husband's life a living hell and she is only three months along. The excuse "well I feel like shit" just doesn't fly in my house and she is very unpleasant to be around. She then gets offended when people say, "Back off." So I think, personally, that she might have been a bitch just to be a bitch. Talk to he about it, explain you love her, and try to stick it out until a few months after the first kid is born, when she is feeling a lot better.

Fiancee of 2 years AND she's pregnant, no wonder she made that comment. You need to get that ring on her finger and make her feel loved!

I know I might sound dumb, but the wording of this FML makes me confused. Can someone dumb it down for me?

this guy has a fiancee. They have been engaged for 2 whole years and they have a second kid coming. The fiancee (girl) brought up that a friend is getting married. The guy very unwisely said "they are lucky." The woman (who has been engaged for 2 years!) said, "no, they love each other" basically implying that she isn't loved

Thank you!

It seems to me that she is alittle butt-hurt about the fact that two people she knows are getting married and even though you are both 'engaged', she is having a second child to you and you aren't actually married yet. Some women are really funny like that - they don't need just a ring, they need a ring, dress, veil and vows. If you haven't made wedding plans yet, perhaps you should start.
