Today, my father took me out for some driving lessons. I accidentally reversed while still in the driveway, and I instinctively hit the brakes. In my panic, I accidentally let go of the brakes, and ended up reversing straight into our house, all while my father yelled "NOOOOOO!" FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste

Today, I borrowed my dad's car to run a quick errand, which he never lets me do. I thought I’d got away with it until he got home and started yelling. I forgot, dad always reverses into driveways, while I prefer to drive straight in, and I'd parked his car facing the wrong way. FML
Karma?
Today, the day after I bragged about never having a car accident in my life, I mistakenly put my car into Drive instead of Reverse and crashed into my own house. FML
Two in one
Today, I accidentally crashed my mom's car into my dad's car. FML
Trust
Today, my dad trusted me to go driving by myself in his car. I foolishly celebrated by doing a jump heel click, landed awkwardly, threw my hand out to stop myself falling, and scraped the whole bunch of keys down the driver's door. He trusted me for like 3 seconds and I blew it. FML
Today, I was nervous as hell for my driving test. The instructor told me to drive a straight line in reverse. I forgot to put the car in reverse from drive and drove straight into a parked vehicle. Which happened to be owned by the instructor. FML
Today, I went to take my driver's test, and I did almost everything perfectly. The last thing was to back into a driveway. As I went to put my hand on the passenger seat to look over my shoulder, I got so nervous that I hit my instructor in the face. FML
Too late
Today, I was at my friend's house. It was dark and downpouring so I couldn't see as I was backing out of his driveway. I made it out, but then my phone went off, scaring me, and I accidentally hit the gas pedal, hitting his neighbor's parked car. Turns out he called to warn me to watch out for it. FML
Today, I was giving my son a driving lesson. He blatantly ran a red light, so I told him to pull over to let me drive us home. As I walked over to the driver-side door, he instead locked me out and drove off by himself. FML
Today, my dad was driving me to college. I'd cracked a joke about how old people like him shouldn't be allowed to drive, and I guess he took it personally, what with him speeding straight up to the parking lot wall, and only braking after I started shrieking in terror. FML
Licence to drive
Today, after failing my learner's licence twice in the previous weeks, I finally passed. As I got home, I went for a drive with my dad. I smashed my mum's car into an old lady's fence and ended up in her backyard. FML

Yikes. You might want to practice somewhere where you can't break anything. Empty parking lots are nice.

I pictured this happening in slow motion. Don't worry OP, practice makes perfect!

I've had a really bad moment when I put my foot on the gas instead of the brake in middle of a t section while my brother in law was yelling at me to stop.. Scariest moment ever. Thank God there wasn't any traffic otherwise it would've been terrible. Anyway fyl OP, keep in mind that practice makes perfect and the best place to practice is a parking lot. Best of luck

He drives you to a massive public parking lot...then instinctively instructs you step by step of what you do..that's how I learned..,better luck next time OP...

Hey, coulda been worse. I hit a mailbox, a pear tree, and the edge of the garage when I was learning to drive. I really thought my dad was going to murder me in my sleep one night for what I did to his truck with the pear tree. But I got the hang of it, and so will you!

I feel your pain, I had to take my driving test 6 times before I passed...

As a new driver you're bound to make a mistake and get in some sort of accident. My first time driving without an adult I hit a telephone pole. Hopefully you've had your accident hurting a house rather than yourself or another person. Good luck with your driving.
