Today, my daughter asked me if we could make sticker art. Of course I said it was OK so she went to get some stickers. I wondered where she was going when she walked into the bathroom, but I didn't ask. I left the room and when I came back, her paper was blank and my pads were stuck to the wall. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Roommates from hell
Today, I got home to the smell of permanent marker and the discovery that my roommate's little sister had drawn flower petals around every polka dot she could reach on my walls. I just put up the wallpaper last weekend. FML
Parenting fail
Today, I left the living room for 3 minutes to make a coffee. When I went back, my 4-year old had found a permanent marker, God knows where, since I don't own a permanent marker. She'd then drawn on her face, the carpet, wall, sofa, both dogs and as an added bonus the TV screen. FML
Picasso in training
Today, I discovered my 3-year-old daughter's artistic skills. She managed to draw an elaborate mural on our living room wall. The masterpiece? A stick figure family, including our dog, but instead of a tail, he has a second head. She of course used permanent markers. FML
Primitive art
Today, I went to check on my 2 year-old daughter in her playroom, since she was being awfully quiet. I walk in to see her finger painting with her own feces on her kiddie table. FML
Today, I had to tell my daughter that just because markers say "washable", it doesn't mean that you can draw all over our newly-painted walls. She's 15. FML
Today, my daughter went potty. Just as she always does, she came up to me and announced, "I flushed, and wiped, and shut the light off." Then she did something brand new. She covered my face with her hand and asked, "Do these fingers smell?" They did. FML
Today, we found out where our daughter had been hiding her crayons. We also found out why our stereo stopped working. FML
Freeze peach
Today, my kids decided to draw on the walls with permanent marker, and now my house looks like a modern art exhibit. FML
Today, I walked in on my daughter making out with a piece of paper with someone from the cast of IT taped to her pillow. FML
It's called fashion, Susan, look it up
Today, my daughter couldn't find a hair tie and thought a piece of duct tape would be a perfectly fine substitute. FML

I think that's more cute than anything else, if that had happened to me I'd have just laughed. I mean, pads are pads, they're nothing to be embarrassed about.

ya, cause you know you have to be watching them EVERY second of the day. god forbid they actually go do things on their own. you must have never been around kids.

moral of the story: use tampons.

I'm more curious about the train of thought of this kid. I never considered doing that with my mom's pads when I was little. Maybe I just had more common sense, because I was still an inquisitive kid. That said...not really a FML.

uh, saw this on funniest home videos of a little boy who thought they were airplane stickers. Not an original thing, kids will be kids. To those of you who say the parent was not attending the kid... uh, you don't watch them every second. Grow up. But really, this isn't even funny anymore because I've heard it soooo many times. Definitely not an fml either. Though a lot of fmls are just for laughs. Still, I don't think it should have gone through.

to all you "bad parent watch your kid" people.....you have no idea what having kids is like, and if you do, last thing the world needs is more "helicopter parents" who's children have never been trusted to be alone for 5 seconds. This is funny though, your life is not ******. hope you took some pictures to show her date on prom night!

What is it about tampons/pads that attracts kids so much?

Maybe the fact that parents wait 9 years to explain what they are?
