Today, my dad yelled at me for being irresponsible while he watched me fold his laundry. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my dad gave me a twenty minute lecture about responsibility and how lazy he considers me to be. He then yelled at me for not making his bed and getting his clothes off the floor. FML
Today, my dad told me I was folding my laundry all wrong. I said with a smirk, "A little clothes-minded, are we?" He slapped me. Hard. FML
*shrinks into corner*
Today, my dad decided to be an awesome person and fold my laundry without telling me. Later, I heard my parents having a conversation about a pair of panties that were "like dental floss" and which sister they belonged to. FML
Can't win, part 15
Today, while my parents were grocery shopping, I cleaned the kitchen, swept floors, did laundry, and cleaned bathrooms, only to finish right before they got home. After dinner, my dad bitched and complained that I didn't take out the trash and he had no room to throw away his paper plate. FML
That would be correct
Today, my dad is infuriating by increasingly asking me to do things around the house, but because he doesn’t like how I do them he yells at me and then does it himself. It’s almost like he cares more about inventing excuses to yell at me than he does to actually get things done. FML
Batshit soup
Today, I was doing laundry and realized that my father had left dirty underwear soaking in a bucket outside for the last two weeks. I informed him that they needed to be thrown out, and they smelled like sewage. It's been over 95 degrees outside lately here. He then yelled and sweared at me. FML
Today, my boyfriend yelled at me from the other room for washing the dishes "too loudly". FML
OCD or asshole?
Today, I got home to my grandma yelling at the top of her lungs that I didn't do everything I was supposed to when I was home. I literally washed dishes, cleaned counters, vacuumed, gathered trash, AND cleaned the bathroom. I didn't fold my blankets. That's it. That's what she was yelling about. FML
Today, I visited my dad. He gave the, "You live under my roof, you follow my rules" lecture since I didn't do my "chores". I moved out 3 years ago. FML
This guy grudges
Today, my dad is still mad because I tossed his empty coffee can over 3 days ago. FML

OK... I cannot see from the FML that it was the clothes he was upset for. If you're irresponsible, you probably won't make it up by folding his clothes

Well there you have it. A responsible person would be folding their own laundry.

Those clothes were suppose to be hung up, not folded! Tsk tsk so irresponsible!

Guys come on, even if (s)he isn't responsible in other matters, I think the dad should at least be kind about it. Yelling at someone, even your own child, while they are trying to be supportive to you in some way, is just not cool. OP was folding the -dads- laundry, which is honestly a nice thing to do. Being aggressive right away isn't always the answer in raising children, y'know? tl;dr, dad, be nice about it please.

being irresponsible and doing chores are 2 different things.

Does your dad work? If he's just a lazy slob with no job who doesn't work around the house, then that sucks. However if he works and provides for the family, then he is doing YOU a great service in teaching you to do chores appropriately. My husband and I both work and we have 4 children. The oldest 2 are 10 & 9. They do their own laundry and each of them do a load of my husbands laundry. They also have other chores as do our 7 & 5 year old. And when they get out on their own and know exactly how to take care of themselves, they will be grateful, and you should be as well. Parents are supposed to teach their kids, and hopefully that's what your dad is doing.

My dad is kinda like the first scenario you mentioned; he's unemployed and refuses to look for work. He still expects my mom and me to come home after work and fix dinner most nights, do the laundry, sweep and mop the floors, clean the house, and take care of the pets. Idiotically enough, my mom puts up with it; I just high-tail it to my boyfriend's apartment.

What did he think you had done that was so irresponsible? I feel like there are details missing. Just because you fold laundry doesn't mean you didn't go out and do something irresponsible beforehand.

This is how things work in my home as well.

I was cleaning the dishes and my mum comes in and says "no one ever helps around here"

Was she being passive-aggressive and yelling it throughout the house so that your siblings/dad would hear it and feel bad about not helping with chores? It may have been a compliment and that she appreciates your help, but I don't have enough information here.
