Today, my dad nearly had a head-on collision with another car, but I grabbed the wheel at the last second, potentially saving both our lives. He spent the rest of the car trip pissed at me because I'd "interfered" with his driving. FML

Today, I accidentally crashed my mom's car into my dad's car. FML
Today, my dad was driving me to college. I'd cracked a joke about how old people like him shouldn't be allowed to drive, and I guess he took it personally, what with him speeding straight up to the parking lot wall, and only braking after I started shrieking in terror. FML
Today, my dad took a call while driving. He always yells and curses at people who talk on their cell while driving. I asked him to get off the phone because it's dangerous, and told him he's being a hypocrite. He shook his head at me and continued talking. Seconds later, we got into an accident. FML
Today, my father took me out for some driving lessons. I accidentally reversed while still in the driveway, and I instinctively hit the brakes. In my panic, I accidentally let go of the brakes, and ended up reversing straight into our house, all while my father yelled "NOOOOOO!" FML
Today, I borrowed my dad's car to run a quick errand, which he never lets me do. I thought I’d got away with it until he got home and started yelling. I forgot, dad always reverses into driveways, while I prefer to drive straight in, and I'd parked his car facing the wrong way. FML
Today, while arguing with my boyfriend about how I wasn't a bad driver and could parallel park, I thought it would be easier to just let him do it. Unfortunately, while getting out of the car to switch seats, I forgot to take the car out of drive and it ran into the car in front of us. He was right. FML
Today, I illicitly borrowed my dad's car to go to the store, but crashed into my mom's car as she and dad were returning from my grandma's house. Both cars are totalled, my mom is in hospital with a broken collarbone, and I realised dads really can make steam come out their ears if they’re really mad. FML
Today, I was driving to work and stopped at a stop light. A full 2 or 3 seconds passed, followed by a car rear-ending me. The idiot driving it got out and gave me hell, calling me a maniac because I braked "too quickly" and didn't give him a chance to react. FML
Today, I was driving with my parents while explaining that young people like myself are better drivers because we have better reflexes. My explanation was suddenly interrupted with the sound of me crashing the car against a parked car. FML
Today, for some reason, my amazing dad told me to slide down towards a pole on a car tire while tobogganing down a hill and I hit the tire, consequently getting hurt in the head. I love my dad but something must've gone wrong that day. FML

Ok guys I know this is irrelevant, but my twin and I are staying over my friends house and were leaving tomorrow , my friend is mad at me because I didn't fight my mom when she told my twin and I that we were leaving tomorrow, she is mad because when she sleeps over , she stays for like a week and we have only been here for three days. However, the drive from our house to her house is 2 hours, and my mom Is coming down to south jersey anyways so she thought she should pick us up, and my twin and I didn't want to make her drive the two hours again if She's already coming tomorrow. On the other hand , our friends mom has offered to drive us back two days from now because she has work near our home. Please help me out guys , and post a comment , thank you so much (:

OP could easily be overreacting about what "about to get in an accident" means. The problem is that unless we were there, we cannot know what's really happening. If OP overreacted AT ALL, she did a COLOSSALLY bad thing and placed both of their lives in danger when they otherwise were not. if OP is not overreacting at all, then she did a fine thing. However this is the kind of thing where you need to be ABSOLUTELY SURE before you grab the wheel from another driver. I do not sympathize with the OP at all. Don't touch another driver's wheel.
