Today, my child-hating friend who vowed never to have any no matter what, announced that she's pregnant. I've had three IVF cycles, spent $90k in fertility treatments, and still can't conceive. FML

Today, I have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years. I’ve gone through numerous expensive fertility treatments with no success. A former friend of mine owes me almost $2K. I’ve asked for the money back numerous times so that I can use it to pay for another round of IVF. She won’t pay. She just announced that she's pregnant.. FML
Today, I was told that I will never be able to have children. Thankfully for my husband, his girlfriend sure can. FML
Today, my close friend who’s always been incredibly vocal about how much she hates children, never wants to be around them or have anything to do with them, stopped speaking to me. She’s incredibly "hurt" that I asked another friend to be my unborn child's godmother instead of her. FML
Today, my friend told me she wanted to get pregnant. I thought that was good news, but then she said she wanted my boyfriend to be the father of her baby. FML
Today, after years of trying, my husband and I did IVF, fertilized 5 eggs, and the whole process was really rough. Now, a year after giving birth to our daughter, my husband wants to use another egg, but I don’t want to go through that all again. FML
Today, my mother-in-law said: "People who don't have kids are children of the devil." I'm infertile, she knows this. FML
Today, we have three kids. Two were "natural" and our third was through expensive IVF. Of all three kids, only our IVF son turned out to be a real asshole. Now he’s going to jail for armed robbery and pushing a pregnant woman to the floor. Wish we’d saved that IVF money and paid off the mortgage. FML
Today, we recently found out I'm infertile, and I thought we were both devastated, until my partner posted a drunk video to Facebook, basically celebrating that we will never have, "crying, nappy-shitting, soul-sucking, bank account-draining little sods." FML
Today, I told my mom I was thinking of having a baby. She told me it was a huge mistake because children cost a fortune, make you miserable, and if she'd had her chance again she would have gotten her tubes tied when she was 18 and saved herself the grief. Gee, thanks mom. FML
Today, after four years of infertility, my wife and I found out our miracle pregnancy was going to be a boy; our first child. Twenty minutes later, we found out our child has a terminal genetic condition, and will die in the next 4 weeks. FML

It's sad, but oftentimes the ones who don't want children or plan for them that end up having them. On a related note, sometimes I think that if anybody who's stupid enough should be forcibly euthanized. Then I start thinking of all that stuff about human rights and government oppression and all that, but lately this website has me thinking: **** them, some people should just never be allowed to breed. It's for the good of the human race. And numbers five, ten, and twenty-seven, I have a feeling you're going to lose your child having ability first.

Easy. It's when you: A. Stop discriminating against people based on stuff like their criminal history, certain sexual behaviors (i.e. pedophiles and rapists), maturity, work ethic, moral fiber, etc. And/or B. Start discriminating based on race, religion, sex, age, economic situation, color of skin, disabilities, etc. Plus don't pull that "comparing things to Nazis and/or Hitler" crap on me. Every time I hear that from someone, I automatically start treating like them shit (in real life too). Fair warning, stop that "Reductio ad Hitlerum" (people everywhere get so pissed off about this, there's a literal term just for it) or I'll take your arguments about as seriously as I take Scientology.

If you maintain healthy eating habits during your pregnancy and exercise after having the baby you can lose the weight. Some people believe that having a child is a little more important than having a perfect body.

I agree that more people should adopt, but it's not always as easy as you might think. It's a long process and costs thousands of dollars. Not $90k dollars but still quite a bit.

While I do agree, you never know what you're getting into. You have no idea of their medical history such as having a bipolar parent, compared to conceiving a child yourself. ): it's all just a really sad situation.

You've got a good point. But then there is also the feeling that one would feel bringing a child into the world. You know? Like adopting is a good option, but some people want to have a child of their blood.
