Today, my cell phone service was interrupted because I owed the company 27 cents. It cost 36 dollars to reinstate my service. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had to sell my phone to pay for the phone bill. FML
Today, I got my cell phone bill. I pay for 700 minutes per month. I used 9 last month. FML
Today, I seemingly misplaced my cell phone but didn't have time to look for it before work. This evening, my cell phone company calls me to tell me I have six hundred dollars worth of calls to El Salvador that I have to pay for. My cell phone was not misplaced, it was stolen. FML
Today, I overdrew my account and ended up paying an extra 35 bucks for a 1.99 item. It was an application on the iPhone that is supposed to help me keep track of my money. FML
Today, I received an almost $400 bill for Internet services I don't even have. When I called and talk to them they told me I still owe them $77 because I didn't catch it within 3 months. FML
Today, after having lost my phone three days ago, I paid a $150 non-refundable fee to have my phone replaced and mailed to me by Tuesday. A half hour later, I found my original phone. FML
Today, I found out that I owed my school $0.20. They decided to charge me a late fee of $20 for deferring the intial payment. FML
Today, the government froze my bank account for not paying college debt, and now I can't access my 0.30 cents. FML
Today, while I was out of the office, I'd left my phone charging inside. My boss informed me that since I am clearly running up her electricity bill, it will be deducted out of my already nearly non existent paycheck. FML
Today, my cell phone broke. It wouldn't even turn on. I went online to access my account so that I could order a new phone. I couldn't remember my password. The phone company had an option of "forgot my password". Upon clicking I get a message saying "Your password will be sent to your phone". FML

I would fight that - esp. if your been with them for a good while, saying that your loyal etc. Its alot easier to keep a customer than to find a new one

The joys of bureaucracy. Either that, or they have a computer running everything that automatically shuts off your service if you don't pay every penny.

TWENTY SEVEN CENTS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS! Next time, pay the company. Don't assume that the company won't care about twenty seven cents! I'm surprised they didn't take away your house and furniture. TWENTY SEVEN CENTS IS WORSE THAN LIFE OR DEATH! I hope you learned a lesson.

Someone had to pay a $.07 electric bill where I work. We charge customers a dollar to pay their bills through us. FYL

Even if you don't owe much, call and see if they want it. We once owed Verizon $.65 and I called and the woman cracked up and said not to worry, they wouldn't cancel service over $.65 and to just pay it the following month when our bill was more. Moral of the story: Know what you owe and double check with the company before ignoring it.
