Today, my brother and I were going to give our parents their anniversary gift which cost us over $3000. The gift was a trip to London in August to see a show on Michael Jackson's comeback tour. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I got a call from my parents that they have decided to get a divorce. My brothers and I just shelled out $5,000 each and spent months planning their 50th Anniversary party that was supposed to be next month. FML
Today, I was going to surprise my boyfriend at his family birthday celebration with a $2,000 trip he's always wanted, Ireland. Right before my gift, he had opened his mother's gift, an envelope containing a plane ticket. Guess where it was going? FML
Awww, sweetie
Today, I took my mom out to a fancy restaurant, and spent close to $300 on her Mother's Day present. Later, my little brother drew her a card with crayons on pink construction paper. She cried. He's 20 years-old. FML
Today, after planning 4 months in advance and spending almost $600 to cover everyone's tickets to the event center, all of my siblings decided to bail on my 30th birthday celebration because driving 3 hours is too much. FML
Today, my mom told me I was a bad daughter because I didn't get anything for my parents' anniversary. I just sent my brother a check for $400 for my share of their gift. FML
This is awkward…
Today, my brother and I spent almost $600 to plan and throw a divorce party for our mother. She proceeded to announce that she and our dad are staying together and that we completely jumped the gun. We deserve it, but… FML
Today, I told my parents that all I wanted for my 18th birthday was to go to a restaurant in NYC for a nice dinner. My parents said no, because it would cost too much money. I came home to see my parents had bought a huge TV for $800. We already have 3 televisions. FML
Today, my parents spent more time, money, and effort on my boyfriend's birthday present than they ever have on any of mine. FML
Today, my dad told me he's taking the whole family to Disney World, even my step-brother's girlfriend. But not me, because he can't "afford" it. FML
Today, my son surprised me on my birthday with tickets to a concert I really wanted to see. I was excited, especially since I planned to buy them but couldn't due to the fact it was too expensive. I was ecstatic, until I found out he'd stolen my credit card to buy them. FML

i posted you deserved it...but you don't really deserve it your like just isn't f'ed. unless by "fml" at the end, you mean "F Michael's Life." sure, it sucks that the concert will not happen, but at least they'll still have a great trip to London, no?

Agreed. Your parents can still go to England and you're sure to get your money back for the tickets so it's not a total loss. It's not MJ's fault he died. This isn't a FYL, it's more of a FHisL

You don't understand the term "collector," do you ?

Michael wasn't even popular when I was born, and I remember. Me and my friends still dance to that.

Well the OP paid over 3,000 for their parents to see nothing. I'd say FYL.

A trip to London would still be a fantastic gift.

I'm pretty sure you'll get your money back and your parents will still get a trip to London so how is this an FML?

It's fml because this guy's parents are obviously huge Michael Jackson fans and he his brother had the perfect gift for them. He could send them to the Bahamas if he wanted, the place is not the point. The concert was. So even if they go to London I'm sure they're not gonna be able to forget that the whole reason they were going was for Michael's concert. DEFINITELY F your life, ur bro's, ur parents', and everyone planning to go the concert, and the rest of the world who loves music!

oh no, we got the point. But it's not an FML for him... no the only real loser here is the dead man.. that is the FML. You're a whiny little *oops*, aren't you?
JTGolant 0
hollysaysso, **** you. just **** you. do you not read that he spent 3,000 ******* dollars on those tickets? how can you be so stupid and not even pay attention to how much ******* money that is? of course it's a tragedy that he died, but that doesn't mean that you can't worry about MORE RATIONAL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO YOURSELF BEFORE WORRYING ABOUT THINGS THAT REALLY DON'T AFFECT YOU IMMEDIATELY. you're a DUMBASS.

That sucks. Well I hope they will forgive ya for that.

"Today a pedophile died. FML"
PTERONOPHOBIA 0
umm, that's not really what the FML is about. it could have been any other musician in his place and this FML still would have existed.

Mmmm... yes he was.

Then why was he not found guilty? Everyone wanted him to be guilty, yet he was found not guilty? And when it came up again, isn't the little boys mom at fault also? Why would you send your son to a stars house, with no supervision. There are many sides to a story, and to glorify a death just because of something that was presumed is just idiotic.

The first kid got paid $10 million to keep his mouth shut.

the mom/family was just greedy. there wasn't sufficient evidence to show that actually happened.
sickinlove13 0
The accusations against him have absolutely nothing to do with his music or the fact that he died. Grow up.

many people *cough, like you, cough* forget that he was so kind and he really loved children. not in a sick way necessarily but he always contributed money to charities for children with mental deficiencies and such. he was truly a nice guy and a tortured soul. poor michael jackson : ( R.I.P

This comment has to be from an annoying nine year old kid, stating MJ was a pedobear. this comes from a die hard modern warfare 2 fan.

Even if he was one or wasn't it isn't any of are business. It's his and the family that was or wasn't involved. We will never really know what happened. and I'm not defending him because I was a fan. I don't really listen to him. liked Jackson 5 though. RIP MJ.

You leave MJ alone. Now I'm not a big fan but I know one thing for sure, He DID NOT (Let me repeat that) DID NOT rape little kids. He loved children (not in a sick way) He started the Heal The World foundation and helped out little kids with AIDS and Cancer. Dont you people know anything? Just leave the guy alone.
