Today, my boyfriend brought up the time he said he'd love me until the day he died. He continued by saying, "So, let's just pretend I died today." FML
Today, my boyfriend and I exchanged promise rings. I promised that I would stay committed to him and that he was the only one for me. He promised that he would stop seeing other woman behind my back. He wasn't kidding. FML
Today, my boyfriend of three years asked me if I ever wanted to get married. I said yes. He said, 'But what happens if you never find a guy who likes you that much?' FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he wants to marry me and be the father of my children. Five minutes later, he told me he wants to experience death. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years told his friend that he decided a long time ago that he would never be faithful to a woman. I was sitting next to him. FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. He then told me that he will love me forever, wait for me and will follow me to the ends of the earth. Apparently, that means standing outside my door and calling my house phone every five minutes. It's been 3 hours straight now. FML
Today, my boyfriend thinks it’s going so well, we have marriage potential, so before we get any more serious he wanted a promise that I will never want children, and if I think there’s ever a chance I might, tell him soon because we’ll have to split up before we waste each other’s time. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend is only staying with me for the present I promised him for his birthday. FML
Today, my boyfriend proposed to me during a funeral. FML
Today, as my boyfriend was trying to convince me that he was not having an affair with another woman named Julie, he looked me in the eye and exclaimed, "I would never cheat on you, I love you more than anything, Julie". FML

well, it shouldnt have taken an hour for you to fix that situation you should have just promised so he will shut up. plus, he'll be dead so it doesnt matter. OR you could have just said no, was he putting a gun to your head? seriously

Did she take an hour to promise, or did he make her promise for an hour straight? If they used the same phrasing the FML did, theres an easy loophole. She wont be "trying to find someone else". Someone else finds her, or she will think it just 'happened'. damn semantics. I agree with #21

I understand that people can love lots of people and that for some it may be unrealistic to remain alone if their partner dies (especially if they're young), but really, if your partner dies, the least of your concerns should be whether or not you're allowed to see someone new. If you're young, you probably will - but honestly, a death is not the same as a break up. You're still in love with the person and you probably always will be because if they were alive, you would probably still be with them. So, it's not really that hard to understand not having any other relationships (or at least serious ones) after your partner's death. It's not something "crazy."
