I almost agree with sugarbaby but that really is annoying. Why would you text someone so early in the morning? Is it because you had nothing else to do and wanted him to entertain you? That's a little needy. If I get woken up by a text, someone had bloody well better be arrested, in hospital, etc. If you wake me up so much as 30 seconds early to say sonething so banal as good morning, yeah, we need to talk.

my bf and I both text each other every morning. whoever is up first. Its not a bad thing, we just respond when we are awake. We never hear the text initially anyway! or I ignore it and go back to sleep, no biggie. lol

Me and my boyfriend always text each other in the morning whenever we wake up. It's not really a problem if you keep your phone on silent. a simple good morning text is a nice gesture not needy.

I appreciate a good morning text from my (hypothetical) girlfriend. Shows she cares. Now if it's a daily thing for you to text him early in the morning.. Depends. He can just turn the ringer off for the texts like I do. I get texts at all times from friends away at college or who just live far away, but I learned to silence my phone completely rather than bitch about it.

I think good morning texts are a sweet way to keep even a slight bit of romance in the relationship, though. When the cute, cheesy things start to go away, sometimes the relationship begins to get boring. It may not seem like much, but sweet texts or notes can keep the spark between the two people going. That's why I think so many relationships/marriages do badly. People think that the little extra effort to be cheesy and cute is ridiculous and clingy. That's why it's better in small doses. I totally agree with you cute-sappy-adorable-romantic people up there: my boyfriend makes me text him every morning to get him up for the day or for class. And it was a annoying at first since I like giving space and getting it but once I got the hang of it, it really is adorable. And brings out the cute-sappy in me which I'm known for not showing.
