Today, my adorable five and a half year old boy told me that when he grows up he's going to be my boyfriend. I thought it was kinda cute until I asked him why. "Because you need one." FML

No, it's actually pretty normal, and pretty common for little kids to say that. It's just their way of expressing affection, they don't know what that entails. I used to say I wanted to marry my dad when I was little. Needless to say, I don't anymore.
