Today, my 15 year-old daughter got kicked out of her cheerleading squad because she was overweight. I heard one of the cheerleaders say, "She must be overweight because her mom is." FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I have discovered that my daughter is struggling with anorexia. When I sat down to talk with her about it, she said it’s because, "all the other kids at school keep calling her fat." She was underweight before, and has now gone to being severely underweight. FML
Today, I told my mom I wanted to try out for the track team. Her exact words were "good luck, fatty". FML
Today, I caught my mother telling my 11-year-old daughter that if she wants to be happy in life, she needs to start exercising now, because fat can creep up on you, and rich guys never marry fat girls with nice personalities. I was fuming. FML
Today, like every other day, my daughter thinks that degrading skinny people is very "non-conformist" and "edgy". This time, though, a slightly slim girl punched her in the face when she accused her of being anorexic. Now people think I gave my daughter her new black eye. FML
Today, I discovered my 17 year-old daughter has an eating disorder. When I confronted her, she confessed that she’s doing it because she wants to stay thin, so that her boyfriend doesn’t dump her like her father dumped me for not being thin enough. FML
Today, my seven-year-old told me to lose weight. Her reason? There's a family fun day coming up at her school and she is embarrassed. FML
Today, I tried out for cheerleading. The judges, two head cheerleaders, sized me up, burst out laughing and made fat jokes towards me. I fought back and called them, "twiggy fucking sluts." At that moment, the coach walked in and saw and reported me to the principal. The judges got off scott free. FML
Today, I went to my parents' house. I recently lost about 30 lbs. My mom hugged me and said, "Aww, you're not my chubby baby girl anymore." She then said she wished I were still fat because she missed it. She's the reason I lost the weight; she used to tease and taunt me. Thanks Mom. FML
Today, I was watching my 7 year-old daughter and her friend jump on our trampoline. I was really impressed by all the flips they were doing, and I told her, "Hey! I can't even do that." To that her friend replied, "Of course you can't. You're fat!" FML
Today, I told my kids that our family dog was getting too fat and we should give him a little less food. My youngest daughter whispered to her sister, "Mommy's fat and we still give her food." FML

there is no reason to be fat, I hope your daughter learn from this and looses the weight so she can live a happy healthier life and not die of a heart attack one day

At this point, you should be worrying about your daughters feelings over your own. I know how it feels to be call overweight (wii fit tells me all the time) but you know what you go on with life. If it bothers you that much that your life if ******, do something about it. People are looked as being overweight if yet have just a little extra cushion for the pushing, or love handle. They are there for a reason!

Exactly! I'm not even technically overweight and I get called fat because I'm not a size zero. It really sucks, cause I have a disease that causes weight gain and I have to work to stay the size that I am. But nowadays, if you're not super skinny, people call you fat. I like the way I look, though, so they can shut up. :)

FYI, if you're fat it doesn't mean that you're unhealthy. You can look great on the outside but could be falling apart on the inside. A friend of mine eats extremely unhealthy and never works out, but she's smaller than me, and I eat right and work out. So don't feel so bad. It could be genetics. Best you can do OP is take away junk foods and start working out with her, but make it fun.
