Today, I went to the Salvation Army to donate some clothes. As I was handing over the 4 huge bags that I had carried for 10 blocks, while 6 months pregnant, somebody stole my purse. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was trying on some clothes in the store's changing room, when someone reached under the door and grabbed my purse, shoes, and pants. FML
Today, I arrived at the airport only to find my suitcase was lost and my 3 weeks worth of clothes and supplies gone. All I had left was my wallet and carry ons. Upon leaving the airport I was mugged. FML
Today, someone stole my purse and phone while I was giving CPR to someone who had a heart attack on the subway. FML
Today, I was walking down the street when a man stole my purse. He then opened the purse, threw up in it, and gave it back. FML
Today, since it's company policy, I had to go to the back of my small store to retrieve an item for a customer, even though I was working by myself. I came back to find that since she couldn't get into the cash register, she found and stole my purse instead. FML
Today, I was working at the Soup Kitchen handing out special christmas dinners to the homeless. At the end of the day I collected my things and went home. It was only then I discovered that my wallet, phone, pager and (for some reason) my glasses has been stolen. FML
Today, I was volunteering at a soup kitchen and was advised to leave my wallet and cell phone in my car so they wouldn’t be stolen. Someone broke into my car and stole them. FML
Today, I passed out on the way to work. Some lucky passerby took this as an opportunity to help themself to my purse. FML
Where's my stuff?
Today, I went into Target's dressing rooms to try some pants on, leaving my full cart outside. An employee thought it had been left there, and took it to put the stuff back. My coat, hat, gloves were in it. I had to walk home. FML
Today, my bag, including phone, money, keys and cards, was stolen. In a church. During my wedding. FML

No good deed goes unpunished, you ought to know that by now.

You should see if Salvation Army or any of the businesses around it have exterior security cameras that may have the thief caught on film.

YDI for saying "that's what I get for helping people". Why can't you just give/help? Why must you need something in return?

38, you are just jelous because you can never get abs like those.

Abs don't make the man, the man makes the abs. I broke up with a guy with a six pack because he was a jerk. I'm married to a man who was overweight when we first started dating. 4 years later and he is no longer overweight, looks better then ever and still the same amazing guy
dark_path 0
than* Thank you for your little life story. Abs don't automatically make a guy a jerk, maybe you were just unlucky? Also, you got to admit it's not common for a girl to start dating an overweight guy. He was probably very rich or hell of a nice guy.

She didn't say abs automatically make a guy a jerk. She said that they don't always signal the guy as being a good guy. She basically did a story referring to the metaphor "Don't judge a book by it's cover."

If you're going to fix someone else's grammar/spelling mistakes, try spelling jealous correctly.

If your purse was full of money and credit cards, you sure helped the mugger! Poor people can wait a few months to rummage around for your smelly, old clothes. You should have only made such a difficult journey after you popped out your kid.
