Today, I went to buy some makeup. As I was checking out, the cashier said, "You're going to need more than that to cover up that face." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I bought some makeup supplies at the supermarket. The cashier snorted and muttered, "Not enough in the world for you." FML
Spotted
Today, I went to Walmart to get some acne cream. As I approached the register, I looked in my wallet for the money. The cashier saw that I didn't have enough money, and before I could say anything, he goes, "Just take it, I've never seen anyone who needs it this much." FML
Today, I got in line at the grocery store. The woman in front of me looked right at me, turned to her friend, and said "That reminds me, I forgot to get acne cream." FML
Today, my boss commented on the fact that I don't usually wear makeup, then told me it would be much appreciated if I'd change that. FML
Today, I yelled at a new employee for violating the company's makeup policy which is minimum coverage. She had red lipstick, very dark drawn eyebrows, and foundation that made her look like a ghost. She took out a makeup wipe and used it then showed me it, only to reveal she doesn't wear any. FML
Wrong move
Today, I told a coworker, “You look way better without makeup.” She responded, “I’m wearing makeup.” Everyone around us gasped like I had just said "fuck" in church. FML
Today, I had a morning shift at the restaurant and didn't feel like wearing makeup. I was energetic and greeted everyone happily, but my manager told me I looked tired. I said, "Oh no I'm just not wearing makeup!" He said, "Well, you might need it." FML
Today, I was at the store buying some feminine products. At the cash register, the clerk said to me "Dude, you know those are for girls right?" I am a 30 year old woman. FML
Today, my mom told me that my new concealer is way too dark and makes my skin look hideously orange and uneven. I wasn't wearing any makeup. FML
Today, I was feeling unusually self-confident, so I decided to skip putting on makeup for the day. On my way to class, I passed some guys selling towels. One of them jeered, "Wanna be prettier? Buy a towel, and throw it over your face!" There goes my self-confidence. FML

Well that was rude. I don't understand why people think it's acceptable to comment on people's appearance in such a derogatory way.

And whatever her excuse will be, it won't be able to cover up her story for saying that. Bring it up to her boss.

Take your business somewhere else. I hate ignorant people.

I don't think ignorant means what you think it means.

I know what I meant and I know what I was trying to say thank you.

Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated. That is from the dictionary so she did use the word properly because the sales person was obviously lacking customer service knowledge. Don't try to be mean ane make someone else look dumb until you have done research.
Hidebehindarock 19
It's not the fact that they lack knowledge its the fact she was being rude..please don't comment acting like your right..when clearly you're being ignorant to what we're talking about ...

#41 you failed horribly at proving your point. She used ignorant as many people misuse it, as rude. You actually supported the comment saying it was the incorrect use.

41- I think they were going for 'arrogant'.

#27 I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Actually #53 the initial commenter used it right and that explanation used by #41 is right too. The cashier *lacks customer service knowledge* which makes him ignorant. You don't say out loud what you think about someone, it's rude but also *ignorant* because you should know better than to insult someone for no reason, even worse since she's a customer. Cashier is both ignorant and rude in this case.

I like how everyone on fml hunt for comment mistakes and argue the shit out of it to prove a point

Agreed! It's horrible in general let alone to a customer at work, if she gets fired, good luck getting another job with that place as a reference

How are so many rude people still employed?
EatUrGreens 20
I know right? I'd fight to get that asshole fired !

Report to her manager or the owner. There's absolutely no need for that level of disrespect.

How rude!

I really hope you said something to the manager. That is not something you say to a customer. I would have made a scene.

You can use your fist to cover up the cashier's face.
