Today, I went to a thrift store and found heaps of clothes that I loved that fit me perfectly. Then I found a special distinctive dress. My dress. My dad had thrown away heaps of my clothes and I had to buy them all back. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out where a few of my favorite outfits went. My mother had taken them out of my closet, wrapped them, and given them to my cousin as a gift. FML
Today, while sorting through my clothes, I found one of my ex's old sweaters. After a lot of thought and difficulty, I threw it out. I felt empowered, until my father later rifled through my trash and claimed the sweater for himself. FML
Today, I wore a beautiful new dress that I got for £5 only in a sale. I've been turning heads in it all day. When I got home, my mum pulled the massive red £5 tag off of the back. FML
Today, I went shopping at a thrift store. I found a really cute top that fit me perfectly, so I bought it. Afterwards, I noticed the original tag was still on it. It read: "designed with your pregnancy in mind". It was a maternity top. FML
Gifted
Today, I put all my clothes into two piles. One pile had clothes I usually wear, the other clothes I wanted to donate. When I was done, I put the piles into two jumbo trash bags. I came back a bit later and they both were gone. My mom donated both bags. I have no clothes. FML
XXL
Today, after losing 20 pounds, I decided to purchase new clothes. All of the clothes at the store were still too small for me. FML
Today, I bought a new, expensive dress for a date. I left the tag on and hidden in hopes of returning it later. Someone saw it and ripped it off for me to "save me from embarrassment." FML
Today, I found an old dress in my house laying around. I decided to dye it green to wear it out on St. Patrick's day. Turns out it was my grandmother's wedding dress that my sister was planning to wear for her wedding. FML
Forgetting something?
Today, I was trying on some new pants in the fitting room at a store. I was so overcome with joy when I noticed that I had dropped two pant sizes, that when I took them off and went outside to pay for them, I realized I forgot to put back on my original jeans. FML
Too late
Today, I finally bought the expensive but beautifully stylish dress I've been eyeing for ages online. Ten minutes later, I went back to check the shoes the model was wearing so I could coordinate my outfit. The dress had been reduced to half price. FML

I think he might be trying to say it's time for you to move out, in his own jerkish way. I hope you didn't have to pay to much for your clothes. Again.

Tell him he owes you the money you spent buying your clothes back

I'd be expecting some money from dad to get new clothes. FYL

I'd have a talk with him if I were you, that's incredibly disrespectful.

Couldn't have been missing your clothes that much, if you went though "heaps" of it before you realized it was yours.

Why would he throw away your clothes...?

Did you tell the workers at the thrift store that those clothes belonged to you but your dad gave them away without you knowing? My mom once gave away her fathers special coat and some other clothes to the thrift store before by accident but realized what she did and just told the people who worked there so they let her take what was left of our things back

I worked at a Goodwill for a few years, and they will only return the clothes to the person who donated them, and only if they had gotten a donation receipt, or the staff remembered them. Since her father dropped them off, he'd have to be the one to get them back, and I don't think he'd be interested in that.
