Today, I went to a party 40 minutes away by bus with some friends. We missed the bus, waited half an hour for the second, and arrived just in time to hear the policemen say, "Party's over. Get outta here." FML

Today, my friends and I rented a party bus, which broke down on the highway 45 minutes into the ride. I paid the guy for the whole four hours. He said he was going to flag down a car to get someone to help us. We saw him get into a car and leave. FML
Today, I went to a party. Although I wasn't drinking, I was still afraid the cops would bust me. Halfway through the party, the cops showed up. I tried to hop a fence, ripping my pants and cutting my leg in the meantime. It wasn't until was on the ground that I found out there was a gate. FML
Today, I tagged along with some friends to a party in the woods. Halfway into the night, a party-goer's boyfriend got extremely drunk and violent, causing the others to panic and drive away in the two cars we pooled in. My best friend and I had to run all the way back home on foot. FML
Today, after my parents left for the weekend, my "friends" decided to throw a party at my house, despite my protests. In order to get them to leave, I called the police. I was the only one arrested, while they got warnings. FML
Today, I went to a party and the cops came to bust the party. I jumped out the window of a second story house in order to avoid getting arrested. I broke my leg in three places and got a concussion. The cops let everyone go with a warning. FML
Today, I tried to leave a rowdy Christmas party early. The apartment door creaked loudly, someone asked where I was going, and suddenly I was explaining my schedule to 10 drunk people. I stayed another hour to avoid more drunk people telling me to, "COME ON, STAY, HAVE A DRINK." FML
Today, I was invited to a party. Since I rarely get invited to any, I was super pumped. Both my parents work late, so I texted a couple of people to see if I could catch a ride. It turned out everyone's cars were full. I ended up missing one of the only parties I've ever been invited to. FML
Today, I had my 18th birthday party. At midnight, three police officers showed up at my door and asked if they could look around. Were we doing anything bad? Nope. My friends suck at parking. Before they left, the officers said that this was the most toned down party they'd seen in years. FML
Today, all my friends had a huge party and 'forgot' to invite me. They only remembered about me at 2 am when they called asking for rides home because they were all too drunk to drive. FML
Today, after finishing work, my friend was having a party next door and my driveway was blocked. I parked six houses down and went to the party for 20 minutes. After coming out after three beers, I went to move my car back to my house and go to sleep. I got a DUI for driving 30 feet. FML

So the FML here is that instead of sitting in a jail cell and having to have your parents come get you, you had to take the bus home again? Could have been so much worse!

Really? They just wasted at least two hours of their day and some money just to be told to go home. Their life might not be astronomically over, but that isn't the point of this website anyways.

Hmmm... usually if you're taking the bus it means you don't have car. Usually if you don't have a car it's because you don't have a license. Usually when you don't have a license, you are below the age of 16. OP was most likely under the age of sixteen. Cops showed up meaning that something wild was going on, and I'm sure OP knew what would be at the party (alcohol, maybe drugs). In short YDI. Karma's a bitch.

Actually in a lot of college towns people take the bus a lot. I have a car but I take the bus all the time cuz it's free. Also, the number one reason I've seen parties get busted is cuz of a noise complaint. So it doesn't mean there were tons of illegal activity going on, although it's a possibility.

Well I highly dout this person is 16. In Denver, a lot of people take the bus or rides a bike. The OP, was probably seeing a friend in Boulder, then missed the bus. Boulder police tends to be annoying.

No she really does fetch bills. There is no command, if she sees my wallet with a bill sticking out she will grab it and just hold onto it staring at me. I have a video of her not dropping the bill for a good 5 minutes until I finally forced her to give it to me. Only because I heard the ice cream truck!
