Today, I went on a date. We met in the parking lot of a restaurant. As I approached his car he took one look at me, said "Nope", and drove off. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went on a blind date at a local restaurant. When my date walked in, she took one look at me, said "Nope", and walked out. FML
Today, I went on a date to the movies with this guy I kinda like. When he was driving me home, he asked me to be his girlfriend; I said I couldn’t because it was really bad timing. He kicked me out of the car, called me an asshole, and made me walk home. FML
Today, I planned to go on a date with a man I met online. He came to my apartment to pick me up, and I told him I'd be right out as I grabbed my purse. When I got outside, he was gone. FML
Where are you?
Today, I had a date with someone I met online. We agreed to meet at a nice restaurant. I got there early, ordered a drink, and waited. And waited. An hour later, I texted to ask where he was. His response? "I’ve been watching you from my car for the last hour. Decided you’re not my type." FML
Today, I rear-ended a car on the parkway. We pulled over, the guy told me his car was fine, and then asked me out on a date. It was only when I said no that he decided he wanted his car fixed. FML
Today, I met up with a guy from a local dating site for coffee. He walked up, looked me over and said "Ummm, no", then walked off. FML
First Dates
Today, I went on a date with a guy I've had a crush on for ages. Midway through the meal, he sighed and said, "I'll be honest, this is a horrible date. You got zero personality and I'm too lazy to do a window escape, so..." He then got up and walked out. FML
Today, I went on my very first date. We went out to eat dinner and everything went great! Afterwards, I went to drop him back off at his house. I backed out of his driveway and got stuck in a ditch. His dad had to come out and tow me out. So that's how I met my boyfriend's parents. FML
Today, I went on a date for the first time in ages, only to realize that the guy I was seeing chose to take us to a specific restaurant in able to stalk his ex. FML
Crafty
Today, I was supposed to be going on my first date with a guy I really liked. He never showed up. I just found out my dad was outside washing the car when my date showed up. He told him he didn't have a daughter and to never show up on his driveway again. FML

I dont think that your life sucks. As much as i think he was a little bitch. One that had no manners.

That’s better than having to waste an entire evening with someone who has zero interest in banging you.

was it a blind date or are you just great at your angles?

Yeah I wondered too. Maybe it's time to add some body shots to your profile so that you can filter out the sort of guys like that in advance.

I'm assuming he saw your picture or something before this? So you either hide what you really look like or showed him some old pictures. YDI

He probably just realized how out of his league you are. Best of luck in the dating scene OP,it’s rough out there.

What an ass! Bet he didn’t look like Chris Evans either! Bet he was some neck beard trying to get a hottie to move him out of his mommy’s basement!

I feel your pain, OP. Just think, though... it could be worse. He could’ve lied to you about getting something from his car, and stranded you at the restaurant.

OP - That’s pretty low class on the date’s part. But then I have to also wonder if you used current un-doctored pictures in your profile and if you did not much match your profile. While it’s shallow and tactless to act like date acted, false advertising is also a flaw. It might be tempting to post overly flattering and potentially dishonest information about yourself on a dating website or app in order to get more responses - That can lead to this scenario one way or another. Obviously I have no idea if date was just a judgmental jerk or if you had misrepresented yourself - Or if it was some of both. I believe that in the long run honestly describing yourself is the best approach. If you are not happy with that then work on becoming the person you want to be describing. I think that ought to apply to both men and women.
