Today, I got rear ended. The guy flashed his lights at me to pull over, so I pulled into the side of the road. He drove away. FML
Today, I was T-boned at an intersection. My wife got pissed when I didn't immediately check on her, but rather the other driver. That other driver was my daughter. FML
Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML
Today, while driving, I got a call on my cell phone. Trying to be safe and avoid an accident, I pulled into the nearest parking lot before answering. While I was turning in to park, someone rear-ended me. FML
Today, I was rear-ended while at a stop sign, by my driving instructor. FML
Today, a guy drove straight into an intersection, running a stop sign and narrowly missing my car. I had to swerve into a snow bank to avoid him. He stopped long enough to see that I had a toddler in my car, before flipping me off and driving away. FML
Today, I was driving to work and stopped at a stop light. A full 2 or 3 seconds passed, followed by a car rear-ending me. The idiot driving it got out and gave me hell, calling me a maniac because I braked "too quickly" and didn't give him a chance to react. FML
Today, while at a stop light, I was rear-ended by a car behind me. The guy got angry at me, because according to him, I should've known that his car has poor braking distance, and so I should've moved forward a few more feet to compensate. FML
Today, I ran a stop sign that was completely obscured by foliage, in a city I was unfamiliar with. A city bus then T-boned me. My car is now totalled, and I’m afraid this will now go to court. FML

What a jerk. Reminds me of the guy who T-boned me a month after I got my license. In my case I was turning left and hadn't seen him coming (the traffic light had been knocked out by a storm), so it was my fault, but after we had pulled over I was having a hard time keeping it together. So as I'm sitting in my car trying really hard to stop crying and not having much success, this jerkwad comes over and starts giving me a lecture on what I did wrong and why I'm an idiot, etc. etc. as if I didn't already know. Plus, my car took almost all the damage (it was nearly totaled, while his truck had a little scratched paint and some minor dents), so other than being a few minutes late to where ever he was going he had nothing to complain about anyway. Luckily the worst injury was my brother's bruised knee, but the "this is why you're stupid" lecture made it much more traumatic than it needed to be. People are awful sometimes.

Reading this makes my left side hurt.... a lot, 8 broken ribs, fractured pelvis, fractured clavicle and a punctured lung. Old man blew a stop sign and I have not been able to sleep on my left side comfortably in 8 years.
