Today, I was coming home from a date, I saw my ex standing in my drive-way. He had dumped me 2 months ago saying he couldn't talk me. To make him jealous, I made out with my new guy before greeting him. Turns out he couldn't talk to me because he had had cancer and had been afraid to tell me. FML

Today, I was making out with my boyfriend. When we took a break and went downstairs, he checked the mail. He had received a letter from his ex-girlfriend, which he opened in front of me. He then began sobbing on my shoulder and broke up with me. He still had to drive me home. FML
Today, after several years spent hung up on my ex, I was finally moving on. I was on a date with my new boyfriend when my ex walked past us. He broke down crying, got on his knees, and begged me to come back. FML
Today, I went to meet a guy that i had already started to be involved with at a bar. We laughed, kissed and had a great time, until he admitted he was just doing all of this to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. Guess who was waiting for me outside. FML
Today, I was invited out to a date by my ex-boyfriend. He seemed really excited to reconnect and kept holding my hand and complimenting how I looked. Out of nowhere a girl runs up to him screaming. It was his current girlfriend, he was using me to make her jealous. FML
Today, I made my way to a bar for a first date with a guy I had been talking to online. It turned out he was actually my ex-boyfriend in disguise, trying to get revenge for dumping him. FML
Today, I was hanging out with my ex's new girlfriend. I found out he was dating us both at the same time and was comparing between us. That is why he broke up with me two years ago and is still with her ever since. FML
Today, I went on a date with a guy I've been talking to. We ended up at his house around 4 a.m., but as we walked through the front door, his ex-girlfriend was sitting on the couch, apparently waiting for him to get home. They still live together. FML
Today, I ran into my manipulative ex-boyfriend at a party. We were chatting and I mentioned that the guys I have been seeing lately all turn out to be jerks. He said, "Yeah well, you dumped me and don't deserve to be happy." Apparently he has been creeping and scaring off any guys interested in me. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. While he was dumping me, he was holding hands with his new girlfriend. FML
Today, I was dumped. My boyfriend was too afraid to break up with me, so he sent the girl he cheated on me with. FML

FYL. It's not your fault that he wasn't man enough to face his illness and tell you, and don't listen to any of the other fools saying otherwise. All you knew, all you had to go on, was that he wouldn't talk to you and that you hadn't seen him in two months. So go ahead and feel sorry for what happened to him, but don't feel bad about how you reacted to him showing up at your place after two months. You did nothing wrong.

That is how most adults take care of personal issues these days. The amount of people calling you a bitch is ridiculous. He was your ex. How the hell were you supposed to know he had cancer? Everyone tries to make people jealous, maybe not all the time but they do do it. The only reason you're getting this reaction is because your ex had cancer. And if hadn't been so afraid to tell you in the first place this would never have happened. Yeah cancer is scary, but you don't hide something like that from your partner. You didn't deserve it.

I have a feeling it had more to do with you not really listening to him and still being stuck in the mentality of a high school melodramatic 90210 moment than him having cancer. chances are he really couldn't talk to you, if you'd do something that vindictive and heartless.
