Today, I tried talking to the very quiet girl in my grade. We were having a conversation when a very hot guy walked into the cafeteria. I said to the girl, "The things I would do for him…" She looked at me dead in the eye and said, "That's my boyfriend." FML

Today, at lunch, I told a bunch of people how I had been in love with this guy since freshman year. I made a bunch of jokes about how I was going to marry him and our kids would be so attractive. He was at the table next to mine and looked back at me as soon as I finished. FML
Today, I was flirting with this guy that had been forced to be my lab partner for class. He was really funny and attractive, too. In the middle of our conversation he said "You're so cute! You remind me of my boyfriend!" FML
Today, at lunch, I was talking to my friends about having a boyfriend. Suddenly, some boy I don't even know said, "Nobody wants to date that ugly bitch." FML
Today, I ran into my serious boyfriend of two years at a restaurant. He was sitting with another girl. I went over and asked him who she was. He replied, "Who are you?" Apparently I was the secret girlfriend. FML
Today, I went to my class as usual. I've had my eyes on one guy for a year now. A new girl came in and he was talking about her with his friends when my friend suggested me instead of her. He took a glance at me before turning back into the conversation making the same face I did when I saw a disintegrated frog that'd been run over. FML
Today, I was at the mall and I noticed this guy staring at me from across the food court. He smiled and waved at me so I walked over there and tried to talk to him. He was looking at his girlfriend the whole time. FML
Today, I talked to a girl I like. I tried to make her jealous by telling her I had a "thing" going with another girl. She looked deeply into my eyes and said, "Wait, aren't you gay?" FML
Today, I introduced the girl I was talking to my best friend, and we all hung out. Until this day, her and I were doing great. After my friend left, she started gushing about how hot he is. He wasn't hitting on her at all. I reminded her that, and that he has a girlfriend. She was calm, but visibly upset. FML
Today, I was cheering up the girl I've been in love with for years. She was having one of those, "I'm ugly, no one wants to be with me" days. To cheer herself up, she said to me, "If you were a hot guy, you'd date me, right?" FML
Today, I was talking to a swimmer I just met. I saw a cute guy and whispered to her, "That guy is hot." She asked "Who?" I pointed at him. She turned to see him, then turned back to me and said "Ew, that's my brother." She went to him, whispered something. He turned around to see me and said, "EW." FML

The other day, my fiancé and I went to the grocery store after church. I know he's a good looking man, and he was wearing a suit, which makes him look even better. The female cashier told him he looked like Leonardo DiCaprio, and then proceeded to look him up and down more than once. While I was standing there. I didn't say anything, because he just brushed it off. The bag boy was also looking at him, and told him he looked good in a suit. Which was a little awkward for him. Personally, I don't like it when anyone eyeballs my guy, but I know people look because he's cute. Maybe you should talk to her and explain to her that you weren't trying to say anything bad, and you honestly didn't know. I'm sure she'll understand, and she probably hears that a lot if he's that good looking.

Not sure how this warrants "quietgirlsucks" as a name. Seriously, it's not like that was even a conversation killer. "Really? That's great, how'd you get together? You snagged a gorgeous guy." Or "Aww, the hot ones are always taken! Guess I can cross his name off the fantasy list." She didn't even sound threatening. Just informative.

Maybe she has a good sense of humor and is secure enough in her relationship to laugh it off and take it as a compliment. You were doing a nice thing chatting her up. Don't let that go just because of an accidental foot-in-mouth situation. It's only human to make mistakes. She might be an awesome person if you give the friendship a chance. And after all, there are plenty of fish in the sea. One little comment doesn't make you a boyfriend stealer and hopefully she knows that.
