Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't want to go out with him because I was having a fat day. After ten minutes of fighting, he threw a ring box on the floor and stormed out. I basically refused his proposal because of my body issues. FML

Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, my fiancé and I had a fight because he wouldn't let me get what I wanted to eat, even though it was my money. He said, "It's way too many calories. I'm supposed to help you lose weight." When I pointed out that I had given up a month ago, he looked at me and said, "Yeah, I can tell." FML
Today, I broke up with my boyfriend because I was tired of waiting for him to propose. It turns out he was going to propose and had the ring and everything, but I fucked it all up. FML
Today, I went to go meet my boyfriend at a restaurant to tell him it just wasn't working out. Before I could do so, he proposed. I had to tell him no, so he started to cry and ran out. Everyone looked at me like some kind of monster. FML
Today, my boyfriend's proposal speech somehow ended with him breaking up with me. FML
Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I went shopping for an engagement ring. We ended up breaking up in the process. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend of ten months that I'm not ready for marriage. A few hours later he proposed at my grandma's 85th birthday party. She cried when I said no. FML
Today, I tried to break up with my boyfriend. He said no. FML
Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. She said yes, but the ring turned out to be quite tight on her finger. She then chewed me out, saying that I can't do anything right, then changed her answer to no. FML

Well I don't understand why he couldnt of done it another day, but then again I've never planned to propose.. But I also hate how girls will look pretty and find something small thats wrong with them and complain about it..

I know that a few days my period starts i have a couple fat days where cloths just don't fit the same way and its sweat pants and big shirts for me. If i were her i wouldn't want to be proposed to while feeling bloated and wearing something that isn't exactly nice. As for him, he should know she has fat days and figure out another way to propose or another day. Throwing a box at her was a bit immature and I'm sure i wouldn't accept that type of proposal.

It's a woman's job to pick up on things like this from her man. My now husband wanted me to do something I didn't want to do one night, but I did because it seemed important to him, and it was actually the proposal.

Oh Lady, I can relate. My boyfriend wanted to propose to me on my b-day this year. We had planned to go out for dinner but I was feeling rotten because of a sinusitis (topped with a nasty migraine) and insisted we stay in and order take away. I finally gave in and we went out but barely after we had had our starters, I begged him to go home as my head was pounding because of the noise around. He didn't seem too pleased and I was irritated at his lack of compassion so we kinda argued. We finished the food at home and I spent my evening inhaling Vicks in hot water to clear my head and him watching TV, not very sexy ;-) He proposed to me the following morning as we were waking up and cuddling so in the end all went well. Call him back and apologize, it's no biggie, he won't stop wanting to marry you for this. Like my anecdote, it will be a funny story to tell at your wedding and later to your children. :)
