Today, I told a customer at the drive-thru I couldn't hear him as he had his music blaring too loud. The customer then drove to the window and verbally abused me for listening to my iPod at work. My "iPod" is the headset we use to take orders at the drive-thru. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Working here sucks
Today, while at work, a customer refused to speak louder, despite me asking her to do it several times. As a result, I took her order incorrectly. The customer then finally decided to raise her voice, but only to yell at me about my poor listening skills. FML
Today, I was verbally abused by a guy in a 4-wheel-drive twat-tank for listening to music on my iPod while I was "blocking the way." I was standing on the footpath waiting for a bus. At a bus stop. FML
Today, while driving during rush hour, I was singing so loudly that some jackass in the car next to me felt he should get my attention by throwing a wadded-up McDonald's bag through my open window, hitting me in the face with it, and telling me to shut up. FML
Who talks to you like that at work?
Today, I decided to listen to some music at work, so I plugged in my headphones and turned on Spotify. Only the music decided to play out loud instead. I was called a “disrespectful little bitch who wasn’t raised right” for not using my headphones. FML
Today, I was taking people's orders at the drive-thru. I was confused as to why people were screaming their orders at me, until one of my managers handed me a paper that he'd found taped to the menu, saying "speak loudly speaker isn't working properly." Punkd. FML
Drive-thru rage
Today, a customer wanted corporate's number because we aren't allowed to sell pies after midnight. After a drug-fuelled cuss-storm, she punched me in the face through the open window, then peeled out of drive-thru like a bat out of hell. FML
The Voice
Today, working at a fast food restaurant, I was cleaning dishes in the back. I started to sing to myself. During the chorus I heard the echo of my voice in my ear. My boss had pushed the talk button on my headset so every staff member and everyone in the lobby could hear me over the intercom. FML
Today, I was alone with a work acquaintance at lunch. A noise came from his pocket; he whipped out his iPod Touch and said "Sorry, I have to take this," before walking away with the iPod to his ear. Not only did he not want to talk to me, he thought I was stupid enough to confuse an iPod with a phone. FML
Today, I'm no longer allowed to work the drive-thru at my job, because over the weekend, 3 dumbasses I go to school with came in and complained to my manager, saying I sounded a creepy pervert and that it scared them enough to take their business elsewhere. FML
Today, a customer berated me and told me to stop whining because I have to work on the weekend. What did I do to deserve this? I said, "Hi, how are you doing today?" FML

Seem McDonalds customers aren't smarter than the employees...

Ugh. Customers do suck sometimes. I work at a movie theater during school breaks and I've wanted to shove a few faces in the popper myself. Bright side: even if the customer complained to your manager, there would be no ignoring what an idiot he was being.

my brother in law was a supervisor at home depot and had many customer complaints...his response to the bigger dicks when they were messing with his cashiers was "sir/ma'am my cashier makes 7 dollars an hours, how long do you think they are going to let you verbally abuse them when it is clearly your fault, before they jump over the counter and beat your ass" he was offered the assistant manager positions about every other week for two years and his own store twice. Basically dont take shit from anyone especially if it is their own fault. People should be greatful for your service. I couldnt do it but i am glad people do. If you ever get tipped with a two dollar bill in texas or ohio, that is me

Your brother-in-law is awesome, I wish my manager was like that. We always have to give in to customers' stupid demands, even though they are clearly wrong. Because apparently our customers (at Victoria's Secret) can all read the word "FREE!", but that's where their literacy ends. God forbid they would be able to comprehend our return policy. "What do you mean you won't take back my disgusting, dirty, clearly worn bra?!" Sigh. Can your brother-in-law come run our store? :)

Don't let it get to you, honey. This guy was an idiot, and we all have to deal with idiot customers every once in a while. MOST people, in my experience, are awesome. But some people are just looking to go off on someone. He probably felt stupid for driving up with the music blaring, didn't like it being pointed out, and wanted to make you look like the stupid one instead. Or he could just be crazy. Whatever the case, you didn't do anything wrong. P.S. Other people have mentioned it, but definitely check out notalwaysright.com. I always get a laugh from that site!

FTCL for not even knowing what an Ipod or Ipod headphones look like. There would be an obvious wire, etc. Plus, shouldn't you be talking into for the other orders?
