Today, I started growing hair on my upper lip. I'm finally becoming a man! Too bad I'm a 17 year old girl. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, one of my friends pointed out I'm starting to get a mustache! - "You're finally a man!" To bad it's my 15th birthday, and I'm a girl. FML
Today, I was looking down at my chest and noticed the hairs growing upon it. For a 16 year old, it's pretty impressive. It's a shame that I'm a girl though. FML
Today, I have dark hairs growing on my chest, nipples and stomach... I'm a 19 year old girl. FML
Bushy
Today, I was on my way to meet my partner's parents for the first time. Although I was in a rush, I managed to hop into the shower and shave. I now have a cut on my upper lip. I'm a woman. FML
Today, I tried to bleach my upper lip hair. I now have a bright red mustache. FML
Today, I was hanging out with my two friends. My hair was hanging over my upper lip, making it look like I had a big mustache. "Hey, look guys!" I said. "I have a mustache!" "I know," they both said without looking. I'm a girl. FML
Half beard
Today, at 24, I still can't grow a single bit of facial hair. Well, at least not on the right side of my face. FML
Fuzzy logic
Today, I had to come to terms with having more facial hair than my boyfriend, despite being female since birth. FML
Smooth
Today, I turned 30. I still can't grow any facial hair. FML
Today, I noticed that my facial hair had grown by an acceptable amount. I spoke to my Dad and decided to show him, thinking he would approve of my manliness. His exact words when I showed him were, "Nah, son. You just look like a lesbian." FML

that's actually a myth, however you've even got the myth wrong. When you shave hair it appears to grow in darker because as opposed to growing in naturally and tapering to a point like normal hair, it has a blunt edged due to being cut by the razor. Waxing pulls the hair out at the root and therefore when it grows back would not appear any darker than the hair before.

its normal- and trust me, other people wont see it as clearly as you do. you may think that its "omg so dark and awful and hairy", but i can bet that no one else is even going to notice, or care for that matter.

Women grow hair pretty much all over their body during puberty. Get over it.

So? Almost women grow hair on their upper lip. Shave it, then go about your life.

So what? Lots of girls have hair there. They just wax it. Do the same.

How incredibly sexy!? :3 ... ㄟ㋛ㄏ BTW, unless you also just grew a pair, you're not becoming a man. *smack*

I have a rather nice mustache myself (I'm also a seventeen year old female), luckily it's platinum blond and nearly invisible. It's not bad. Get over it. This isn't an FML, this is just life. If you don't want it there, shave it, wax it, or bleach it. It's not the end of the world.

Wow. You're a mammal. How tragic. Come back when you have something real to complain about. (btw - don't shave it. Guys don't like kissing stubble. I'd rather kiss a girl who had a 'stash and was secure and comfortable, than one who had stubble and was anxious and self-loathing.)

you'd probably be happy to kiss a girl at all

I've noticed that women with noticible hair there, also have a great head of hair. Think on that.

There are millions of ways you can get it off.
