Today, I slipped on a crayon a little girl threw on the floor, causing me to drop the tray of water I was carrying, making me spill it all over her. After getting cussed out by her mom, I was fired for making a customer unhappy. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was called stupid by a customer, after I supposedly got his order wrong. He then threw his ice cream cone on the floor, tracked it around the store, and left. While I was cleaning it up, he came back and tripped me right into the mop water, spilling it everywhere. FML
Today, I tripped over a kid at work. She was sitting on the floor with her legs sticking out into the walkway. Her mom caused a scene, accusing me of doing it on purpose. FML
Deer in headlights
Today, at my new job waitressing, I walked into a glass door at full speed while carrying a tray of drinks. Not only did I spill everything, but I also left a weird make up face print on the glass for everyone to laugh at. FML
FREAKOUT!
Today, at work, I helped out an employee who was having trouble. I even bought her a bottle of water. After the production manager decided to fire her on the spot, she went out in the parking lot and broke into several cars, including mine. FML
Today, my coworker and I were written up after we dropped a glass table, which shattered and left us with big cuts on our hands and arms. We weren’t written up for breaking the piece, but because a nearby customer heard us both swear in pain and reported us. FML
Today, while babysitting my neighbors' kids, their oldest son used a paint pen on the carpet. The boy blamed me and I got fired. He's only 3 and can barely talk. FML
Snowflakes
Today, I bumped my head on a tool box. When it happened, I yelled, "Fuck." I got fired from my job for cussing. FML
Today, at work a little girl wanted a slushie. Instead of pushing the tab in, she lifted it up and broke the machine, spilling slushie all over the floor. I was the only one working, so I had to clean it all up. I spent the rest of my shift covered in red slushie and smelling like cherry. FML
Today, as I was bagging groceries, I looked down to see a 6-year-old urinating on my shoes and the floor next to me. I told his mother that he should take her kid to the restroom, only to be told to "mind my own goddamn business." I was later fired for arguing with the customer. FML
Today, a kid got his hand stuck inside my store's giant gumball machine. He started crying, and his negligent trainwreck of a mom bitched me out for being "unobservant." I'd been mopping up the mess she'd made after she'd spilled an open can of beer all over the floor. FML

Sounds like a shitty job anyways. You've got to do menial chores around spoiled rotten brats with their obnoxious, abusive, arrogant parents and are backed up by spineless, obsequious management. As with a cheating boyfriend, you can do better. Begging for small change under a bridge would be more dignified than working at that shithole with those shit people.

The customer is always right? Not this time.

It scares me deeply that that this is the next generation. Pretty soon, these brats will be driving and voting.

I agree with 44. And who knows, the next generation could think glass condoms are a good idea.

Because people like that believe they have certain rights which gives them a sense of self-entitlement which /guarantees their ******* weight in gold/.

Customers really are just jerks. It's like common decency is gone.

Getting soaked with water vs potential broken bones. Unreasonable customer. I would fight that termination if I were you.

Agree. ^^

A ninja waitress would have kept the tray of water level while falling on her behind.

I remember that one...

A ninja waitress also wouldn't have been seen at all

Do you guys have Fair Work over there? Because I'd be calling them. That's unfair dismissal and I dare say it was caught on camera. Don't let them walk all over you like that, because they'll just keep doing it to people.

26: It more or less depends on the situation. Pain: stumbling in the dark while drunk, and stepping on a triangle piece with your big toe. Pleasure: getting out of a hot bath, stepping on a Lego base plate (that big flat thingy whee you set up houses and buildings) with feet that have calluses from nearly a decade's worth of aikido.

that place doesn't deserve you anyway... if they would fire you for making one customer unhappy w/o even listening to your side of the story or anything

Ah, Connecticut. The land over the over-priveledged, entitled parents and the unfulfilling service jobs.
