Today, I set up a hidden camera in my room so I could prove that my sister beats me up when my parents aren't home, since they always accuse me of lying about it. When I showed them, they wasted no time accusing me of "provoking" her off-camera. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found a hidden camera in my room equipped with night vision and a microphone. My parents have been spying on me for at least the past year. FML
Proportional response
Today, my pathetic wannabe influencer sister would not stop recording my kids, even though they and I told her not to. I finally snapped and smashed her phone and now she's threatening to press charges, and our parents are on her side. My kids are scared that they're going to be taken away from me. FML
Victim blaming
Today, my demented little sister walked up to me and kicked me between the legs. I told my parents, but they just accusingly asked me what I did to provoke her. When I said, "Nothing", they accused me of lying. There is no justice. FML
Bad pranks are annoying
Today, my sister snuck into the bathroom while I was in the shower (the lock is broken) and took my clothes and towels. I came out and quickly went to my room. As I went in, my sister was sitting on my bed with two friends watching TV. I instantly covered up, but they saw everything. FML
You can do it
Today, I felt lousy and decided to give myself a pep-talk in the mirror. After a while, I cheered up and went about my day. I soon found out that my sister had recorded me through the crack of the door and posted the video on Facebook. I'm humiliated. FML
Today, I was sitting in my bedroom relaxing when I heard my little sister and my brother. Thinking it was cute they were talking again, I was listening. They were not just "talking", they were making plans on how to kill me. FML
Today, my siblings overpowered me and duct taped me to a chair. Helpless, I had to wait until my dad got home so he could help me. Instead, the first thing he did was reach for his camera to take a picture. FML
Today, I decided to scare my 10 year old sister for fun. I hid behind a door and leapt out, shouting "Boo!" when she walked by. She burst into tears and ran screaming to my mom. My mom thought I'd hit my sister, and was so angry that she punched me in the eye. FML
Today, I woke up to my little sister strangling me. My parents accused me of making the red marks on my throat myself to exaggerate how bad it was. She's just "going through a phase", they say, and I'm a bad person for punching her to get her off me. FML
Well played
Today, my mom came into my room, yelling at me about a pregnancy test that she found in my bathroom. My mom wouldn't believe me when I said it wasn't mine. Turns out my sister bought the test, threw it under my bathroom cabinet, and now she won't admit to the prank. She thinks this is hilarious. FML

Take the video to the police. Proof of assault, as well as criminal negligence on the fault of the parents.

I try not to condone violence but in self defence cases.. I'd learn to fight back. FYL

Though I would hate to personally turn my parents in for something like that, especially of my sister is a brat, you should talk to a school counselor and maybe your parents will get a warning without to harsh of an outcome.

When you are an adult and have your own place and you don't visit or call or bother to spend time with your parents or your sister (because trust me, you won't) you still won't likely be able to get them to understand that this is a problem.

Wow talk about favoritism!!

Now you know who your parents' favourite child is. :/ In your situation, learning to fight back seems to be the solution, but I'm afraid that will prompt your sister to tell on you and I have a feeling your parents will side with her. Is there anything wrong going on with your parents, op? Could be the difficult situation at home that makes her behave like this.

I'm with the top voted comments, OP, this is serious and you have to go to the police!!! your safety is paramount. my sister used to threaten me with knives and nobody would believe me. thankfully it stopped but it was still horrible and never really got very physical. please report this to the police honey :( we're all worried about you

My sister used to be extremely violent towards me, up to the point where I suffered brain trauma and was rushed to hospital ... She always said that I exaggerated or that I was lying and my parents always believed her, even when I was in the hospital. The staff at the hospital was going to call the police, but I asked them not to. The next time she beat me, I was on my way to the police but then my mom begged me not to, one because she thought I was still lying, two because she didn't want her precious daughter to have a record, and three because it would have blown up my whole family. Just it's really not easy because there are a whole load of consequences that you have to think about ... I've been there, it's difficult, one solution could be to see a therapist, both of you together and maybe each on your own because she must have a shitload of issues to act like that ... Anyway good luck OP seriously, I hope it becomes better between you and that she won't touch you again xx

**** that man. If my parents didn't do shit to defend me even after being hospitalized, I'd kiss their asses goodbye and report it anyway. No one deserves to be physically abused. It makes it worse that you can't even reach out to the people that supposedly love you and protect you

I hope two things: 1. That you're doing OK, and 2. That you cut your sister and your parents out of your life. They don't deserve your attention if they treated you like that.

Ha yes I'm fine :) I haven't cut them out of my life but they're all doing better, my sister was in a bad spot with drugs, that she's stopped, and my parents always tried to stay neutral between us because we never really got along, I'm still upset that my mom didn't really believe me and therefore didn't really protect me, but I gave especially my sister another chance and it's all good now, she knows that if she ever touches me again she'll have to face the consequences because I have proof of some other times .. Super sweet you both by the way ! xxx

I'm glad you're fine, but I think the second time she beat you, I would have ignored my parents' requests not to tell the police. She'd put you in the hospital, and they're protecting her over you? Perhaps she could have gotten some sort of treatment for her drug problem sooner.

Your sister deserves a high five in the face with a chair.
Stripez234 16
No one deserves this. Report it immediately. If your sister is this violent and abusive I fear in the near future it could turn out a lot worse than bruises and scratches.
