Today, I realized why my 50 year old Dad's 30 something girlfriend looked so familiar. She is in all my parents wedding photos... as the flower girl. FML

Today, as I was perusing old photos with my mother, I found one of her with a "childhood friend" at her wedding to my dad. Now I know where my green eyes and blotchy neck birthmark came from, and it's not from the man I’ve been calling "dad" for 40 years. FML
Today, I learned my 40 year old father is marrying a girl barely a year and a half older than me. She told me not to be afraid to call her mom. I was torn between punching her in the face and vomiting. FML
Today, a friend pointed out to me that my girlfriend of five years looks a bit like my mom. She does, and now I can't get it out of my head. FML
Today, I found out that my husband only dated me because I look like what he thought the daughter he had with his first wife might look like when she's grown up. FML
Today, I learned who my dad's new fiancée is. Upon meeting her she exclaimed, "My, I haven't seen you in a while!" She's my ex-boyfriend's mom. FML
Today, my dad married his fiancée, who insists I call her "Mom." I'm three years older than her, and went to the same high school. She's taking me shopping next week to buy me "something nice." FML
Today, I found out that my 50-year-old Father is the 'Sugar Daddy' to a 20-year-old. He wasted my college funds on her, which I have been dutifully saving for ever since I was 10. FML
Today, according to my wife of 30 years, I'm finally old enough that I look, smell, sound and act like my father. FML
Today, I got very dressed up and was excited for my uncle's wedding. While standing in line for photos, I heard my dad's voice from behind me say "Who's the hot chick in the brown dress?" My uncle responds "Uh, that's your daughter." Silence. FML
Today, I realized that my mom has not had a date, or had sex, in 50 years. I've become her 'Husband-Son'. FML

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm in my 30's and I have a ton of friends the same age and NOT A SINGLE ONE OF US are gold diggers/looking for sugar daddies. Don't make generalzations (sorry sp sucks)

Gold digger is the stereotype for girls 18-25. Women who are 30-40 are stereotyped as panicking due to their biological clock. Regardless, why should anyone care about age difference?

Dad, you rock. Seriously, the only thing I have to say to large age differences in these situations, is you go. Either male or female, if they are in good enough shape and still cool enough to get someone that far away from their own age, then go for it.

well, if he's 50 and the girlfriend is 30, that means he was 20 when she was born. so if she was 5-7 as a flower girl, he was 25-27 as the groom...is there something wrong with getting married at 25-27, bayybee?
