Today, I started some laundry late at night. Once my clothes were in the washer for about a half hour, I got bored and I decided I would listen to my iPod. After looking for it for another 15 minutes, I remembered where I'd left it; in my jacket... which is now nice and clean. FML

Today, I thought I was clever for doing my laundry while multitasking and making dinner. When I went to transfer my clothes from the washer to the dryer, I discovered that I'd accidentally washed a pack of gum that was in my pocket. The gum had melted into my favorite shirt, and I now have a sticky mess to deal with. FML

Today, I heard my washing machine making a strange noise. I nervously waited for the cycle to end so I could open it and investigate. The noise was my car keys. I'd somehow washed them, my wallet and $20 without noticing. FML

I'm not usually out of the loop, but I truly don't understand this one. I don't consider myself that young either. And I grew up in the mix tapes era as well. So for that reason only (my complete lack of understanding) I wish one of the many other hilarious comments had one. Or maybe somebody can explain this on to me?

Not only is it not funny it also doesn't go with the picture. If the tape was truly "fire"it would have lit the pants on fire when it was in the pocket still on the person, or at least in the tape machine itself. I understand the staff not choosing the top rated comment (because after a while most people only read and therefore vote for the first few), but at least choose a funny and appropriate one.
