Today, I was going to take my boyfriend to Napa. It's my birthday and I wanted to do something big since last year my fiancée called off the wedding. My boyfriend just broke up with me because I'm "clearly not over" my ex. This makes two consecutive birthdays alone in romantic hotels I paid for. FML

Wow, what a jerk. I'm really sorry. I hope you weren't trying to angle for expensive stuff. Heck, I hate buying cards because it's more clutter than I need, but my boyfriend is the one who likes them. *sigh* We're going to go to a quick dinner and then come home and watch a hockey game next Thursday. How's that for romantic?

I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I understand though. It's my birthday, valentines day and my anniversary coming up and I just found out my boyfriend is planning on cheating because it turns him on to hurt me... Happy birthday to us, eh? But be strong. You don't need a guy who'll hurt you that way. Try to enjoy yourself still.

This is really weird. I also told my boyfriend the same thing, except it wasn't our 1 year anniversary, it was our 3 year anniversary. Also, my birthday is on Valentine's day. Freaky. Of course, my boyfriend didn't break up with me... The fact that yours did means that he wasn't commited at all. You'll find someone better and think back on what a jerk he was.
