Today, I passed out when my blood sugar dropped. Three times. And each time, my roommate, who was right next to me, just let me fall because he liked the way my face looked. FML

Today, I went to the doctor for a routine check-up. When the nurse took my blood pressure, I passed out, and fell off the table. FML
Today, I found my boyfriend passed out on the floor. Then I passed out, due to anxiety of seeing him passed out. FML
Today, I took a shower and right after I fell asleep on my bed wrapped in my towel. I awoke to find my dad slapping me in the face. He thought I had fainted because I'm a diabetic. FML
Today, I was sitting in the cafeteria with my friends when I suddenly passed out due to my hypoglycemia. When I woke up, I discovered that I was still in the same spot and my friends had abandoned me to go to class. Also, my stuff was stolen. FML
Today, on the bus, my blood sugar level got too low and I passed out. When I came to, the woman next to me was hitting me, saying she needed to get off and that she didn't have time for my, "stupid fucking prank." FML
Today, while at work I passed out due to my blood sugar not being normal. Despite the fact that it took 10 minutes to wake me, no one thought I was in any sort of danger. After the episode, I then got fired for "sleeping on the job." FML
Today, I took a friend home from the hospital. She was on medication that made her drowsy. She fell onto her bed and asked me to help her take off some clothes since she had her winter gear on. She passes out and her roommate walks in and catches me undressing an unconscious girl. FML
Today, while at work, I suddenly went into diabetic shock. As I was nearly passed out on the floor, a customer yelled at me for not getting his coffee in time. FML
Today, I had a low blood sugar attack and almost passed out during class while over Zoom, which my professor then decided to bring attention to by calling me out for "sighing" about the research paper. FML
Today, I was working as a stagehand for one of my college classes. I’m diabetic and can’t go without food for more than a few hours. I was told that if I left early, ate anything backstage, or passed out, I would fail the class. I passed out. FML

Damn OP, you need to keep a Blood sugar monitor nearby to prevent future incidents. Maybe you can keep it in a black pouch that looks like a change purse.

I honestly feel it's time for a new roommate , if you would seriously hurt yourself I feel like he wouldn't care . If you really banged your head you would be in serious help he would most likely cut and run and leave you there. you really need to find someone you can trust just in case something would happen to you . ps tell your parents , tell someone .

new room mate NOW. you can't survive with someone like that, imagine if you had DKA, you would be dead before your room mate cared enough to try to get you up. also, always carry dextros tablets or sweets, or eat take-away tonight with high carbohydrate, and talk to your regular doctor about lowering your insulin to carb ratio, fyl for the room mate, let's hope he/she gets diagnosed with something nasty. -diabetic 6/16 years

#65 You're totally right-- it's not necessarily diabetes. There are some other conditions that cause blood sugar to drop (such as hypoglycemia). Other people just have fast metabolism and get hungry every couple of hours.
